British Airways will force you to review your details with this app before reliseing online boarding however it will not work on your return journey.To be honest for a app that is designed to make the process easier all round it has caused much heartach and fustration absolutluy usless and just a worthless aditional hurdle to a aready fustrating pasanger service. will be avoiding the much loved BA until this nonsense stops.

This whole app use was presented as if you MUST use the app. Firstly the app is next to useless. I arrived at the airport somewhat worried because the app had not been updated with my documentation despite having entered the details. However on arriving you could check in as normal without using the app. What a total waste of time and bother.

Why BA would suggest using this app, indeed using the words you 'must' upload docs to this app (this simply is wrong) Just go to check in. Major oversight form BA to not do due diligence and actually check out how useless this app is: couldn't upload docs or anything else, C tests forget it.

Trying to take a very simple trip with British Airwats and obliged to use this utterly crap Verifly app. It is unclear to use, the QR scanner doesn't work, the entry requirements are out of date, and the time of the flight is not even adjusted to local time (or just plain wrong). Adds greatly to the stress of the trip. Our next flight will not be with British Airways because of this app. Airlines losing customers because of having to use this app to check in.

SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM! Got to step 3 where I need to "take a selfie" - failed, no hint of why. This is on an Android device running latest version. I even gave the app all the permissions a bit of deep investigation showed it might want (even though nothing in the install process). When you click "Start" as instructed for this step of the setup process, my screen appears to show its trying to do something but goes nowhere UPDATES Having reset my phone after installing and updating permissions, was able to complete setup. Once installed it's actually OK. I used Qured for my preflight COVID-19 - Verifly could learn a thing from them on service perhaps (as in, they could provide a help desk?) My Qured certificate doesn't come with a QR code, so had to manually upload a PDF into the Verifly app which their help desk guy helped me understand in a quick phone call. Once installed, and once past the obstacles and niggles mentioned above, it actually worked really well in the airport and saved me a load of time and hassle. Verifly you could make this really good but you need to deal with that help system - I've been in IT all my life so was able to work out/guess my way through, but definitely not for someone who isn't tech literate, or doesn't have access to someone who is. I can see a side business almost here, helping setup and configure and operate the app until the green tick is complete leaving the recipient with a much more pleasant and rapid check-in experience

Woeful, truly woeful. Root Canal Surgery without an anaesthetic would be preferable. But seriously, why are airlines sullying their reputation by associating themselves with this rubbish application?

VeriFLY is a great concept. For my daughter it worked great, including the uploading of her Covid test results. For me, the app stated my results were not recognized as a valid COVID-19 test result even though they were obtained the same day as my daughter’s. The app is clearly set to reject results that are obtained 24 hours prior to being obtained/uploaded, even though that is NOT what the current CDC requirements are to fly to the US. They state ONE DAY PRIOR so any results obtained on the date before should be recognized as valid. It is an easy thing to adjust-not rocket science-so I feel like in general it simply isn’t worth the time and effort to download and use. Our airline, American Airlines, just needed to see my negative results with the appropriate DATE, which I showed them using NAVICA. Another thing that was disappointing was that VeriFLY attempts to sell you an “upgraded” option for expedited review-such BS!! Another company making money off the pandemic! Disgusting.
