VerblingReviews of verbling.com

You get what you pay for. Some teachers cost about 12 an hour and those are normally the good ones and will talk the target language with you others who are 6 or 7 an hour just go over exercises you can find for yourself online and they speak your own language back to you instead of speaking the language you're there to learn in the first place! Not a single one out of my three teachers ever showed up on time. I guess they just let whoever teach on this website. Some were good, and others are not. I don't think it's worth the money.

Its a great platform to connect students and teachers. As a teacher I really appreciate the freedom Verbling gives to teachers to create lesson plans and use their preferred methodologies with students. As a student I feel working one on one with a teacher is an effective and natural way to learn.

Está muy buena pero a veces funciona lento

I love having classes on Verbling, it made me improve so much! But there are some things that bugs me a lot! First, the mobile app. It took a age to have it, and when it came, it's really really bad. It was a huge negative surprise for me, I was so excited about it! And I say this because I'm a mobile developer myself, so I know what I'm talking about. The other thing that I don't like about Verbling is that you removed great things, as the possibility to buy credits in advance (and save money with it), and the bonus referral. I've been spreading the world about Verbling for so long, I really feel that I should be rewarded for it somehow. On the other hand, the web application really improved. On the first few weeks I had to ask my teacher to move to Hangouts, because it was terrible to make a call using the new feature, but now it's a seamless process. The layout in general is finally clean and beautiful :)

I had problems with being charged twice of lessons. I get an error message that the payment didn't go through. When I go to pay again, I find out that I've been double charged. I've submitted an email but haven't heard back from Verbling. This is the only thing that's making me hesitant about using my credit card on this site.

I really enjoy learning on Verbling, as my teacher is fantastic. I did prefer it (and use it more) when they offered group classes, but as a platform it's easy to use and provides me with a convenient way to learn Spanish from home.

My Verbling teacher is excellent, but in the past several months I have had intermittent problems with connections. Most recently I have been using the Verbling app on iPad for my classes, which was working very well. However, in my last class, we were getting kicked out of the classroom about every five minutes, which made it impossible to continue, and we ended the class after about 30-35 minutes.

The cheapest way to learn any language.
