I’ve been very happy with my teacher and Verbling for the last 3 years. While things break from time to time (like the iPad version right now doesn’t do landscape mode), I find the customer service folks responsive and courteous. As for the functionality, I love it - I love the fact that the teacher can send me notes during class, send me homework, and return corrections. And I really like the new revamped Vocabulary section. Having multiple decks is very handy, and having the audio portion read back the Japanese is half the battle (it’s hard to remember so many Kanji). And I love my teacher Mari - good sense of humor and patient. I’ve learned a lot from her.

The idea of such a platform as Verbling is amazing. The quality of the teachers who work there is quite high. However, the technical realization of the portal leaves much to be desired. It's very unstable. The functionality is limited. The features which are in theory excellent are realized in a questionable manner.

I cannot say enough about Verbling. I found a wonderful teacher who knows exactly what I need to progress. I find the lessons fun and challenging.

They are great! There are so many options and you can find the one you need, especially when it comes to English.

Verbling is great! I have found wonderful teachers, discussions and technical help. It's convenient, affordable, innovative and fun. It is a terrific way to learn, and I highly recommend it.

I love the concept and interactive qualities of Verbling and am super grateful for this platform. I have also had over 30 lessons with my Italian teacher and think she is incredible. The problem is the Internet connection. There hasn't been a single lesson where there wasn't some audio or video issue - some so significant that she had to disable the video so we could still hear each other. When she screen shares, it is especially difficult. I highly recommend Verbling for anyone wanting a convenient and effective method for learning a new language, but the technology piece may get in the way.

The platform is great but the customer service is not. I have had a couple of troubles since a start using Verbling and the customer service never answer me back. It was a huge disappointment.
