I've had a great experience with my tutor! He is kind, smart, prompt, fluent in French, and has a good sense of humor. My French is improving and I am grateful for the easy-to-use scheduling and payment interface on Verbal Planet's website.

I would recommend this company to every tutor as they do guarantee payment even if the student refused to pay. I gave a lesson last Sunday but when I sent my invoice via Paypal, the client ignored me and never paid me however, Verbalplanet paid me and has now upgraded that client so that from now on if they want a lesson, they have to pay fully in advance. Well done Verbal Planet.

I was looking for a Hungarian teacher in a mid size city in the US and it was impossible! I was worried at first about doing lessons on Skype since I didn't think I would like talking to a screen! But I am so glad I tried it. It is definitely not just talking to a screen, but rather a professional teacher who has helped me a lot. I was glad that they offered free trial lessons so I could meet with my teacher without making a big commitment. But as soon as we met, I knew I wanted to continue on with her. My only concern is I wish the lessons were one hour instead of 45 minutes. 45 minutes goes by too fast by the time you say hello, get started , and then wrap up.
