Excellent source of language teachers. Reasonable price and so simple to have a lesson over Skype. Now I can have frequent lessons without travelling to meet up for class and saves much time and effort. It is also cheaper than actual meet up or classes in my city but I think it is as effective. Teachers are also sometimes limited in my area and there are plenty on Verbal Planet.

Draskers
I've been using Verbalplanet for nearly three years, and have been more than impressed with their service. It was easy initially to find a suitable tutor that met my criteria in terms of cost, native speaking abilities and personal learning goals. The payment is secure, and I'm reassured that should the tutor miss the scheduled lesson for any reason, I'd be protected financially. The pool of tutors available is mind blowing, especially for Russian - a language I never considered to be mainstream, so the ability to read individual profiles and get a custom learning plan was incredibly helpful in the decision making process. Likewise the post lesson feedback helps distinguish between the great and the average tutors, by providing genuine and verified remarks by students. After booking over 276 lessons, I have every confidence in recommending Verbalplanet to language learning enthusiast of all levels - I consider it to be the best resource available, and one that I will continue to use, and enjoy doing so.
