Dubrovnik great, Kotor disappointing
The guide we had in Dubrovnik was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. The guide for the kayak “tour” in Kotor on 20th September was very lacklustre in comparison and clearly not enjoying his job

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your guided experience in Dubrovnik, but we’re sorry that the kayaking tour in Kotor did not meet the same expectations. We want all our guests to enjoy their experiences, with knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging guides throughout. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will share your comments with the team. Thank you once again for choosing Venture Ashore for your cruise excursions. The Venture Ashore Team

Often cheaper than cruise lines
Often cheaper than cruise lines. Post booking support was very good when we were on a tight tender port meeting time. Kept in touch via WhatsApp one to one until we got on our tour.

We understand how important it is to get back to the ship on time, especially when tender times are tight, so we’re glad our one-to-one WhatsApp communication gave you peace of mind. Great communication and a very …
Great communication and a very reliable company to work with. They helped create a full week of tours for 11 of my clients with some having mobility issues. Triin was amazing in creating these tours and tailoring some days to accommodate the clients request. She offered great restaurant recommendations and always replied back within a timely manner. I give them 5 Stars!

The views were spectacular - Must see bucket list moment
The views were spectacular. Everywhere you looked was a photo opp. Our driver Cesare was beyond incredible. How he navigated those roads is beyond me. My favourite stop was Sorento. It’s just so idyllic. It’s a not to be missed excursion. It was busy, so be prepared and patient.
Response from Venture AshoreOct 19, 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the spectacular views and found the excursion so memorable. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Cesare, who will be thrilled to know his driving made such a positive impression. The Amalfi Coast and Sorrento is certainly a beautiful place to visit, and we appreciate your helpful tip about the crowds. Thank you for recommending this shore excursion from the port of Salerno, and we hope to welcome you again on another adventure soon! The Venture Ashore Team
