I would very much like to ride the Virtual ride bike at the Guilderland VENT when it opens in the AM. However everyday there is a very opinionated older man on the same bike everyday. He talks very negatively about other members and staff and intentionally bothers me when I try to do a virtual ride. I feel he try’s to bother people so they won’t use the other bike next to him. PLEASE ‘get another virtual bike and move it away from this person. I do not feel safe around him and have been told by other members that he has made physical threats in the past to people. How this pattern has been allowed to happen is very puzzling. Please look into this and move a bike or remove this individual.

From day one, my experience at Vent was nothing but positive all around. Front desk staff, trainers and even members have been so outgoing and friendly. I just tried a small class size, and there was definitely a learning curve. I was not made to feel like an outsider or inconvenience for not knowing the steps. Both aember and a trainer went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I’m so grateful for this chance to reinvent myself.

Depending on what area I am in is what gym I go to. Either schdy Niskayuna or Guilderland sometimes Clifton Park. Would like to see some consistency in the gyms, positive attitude and knowledge in the staff in different locations. When you are in one location and you say something about another location the staff will usually degrade the other location that you are speaking of which is rather discouraging. You don't have to try to make your location look better, I'm already here. A person who slings mud only loses ground. Also would like to come in and do my workout and leave, not wait for people to socialize while sitting on the equipment or text on their phones while sitting on the equipment. If you ask a person if they're done with the equipment they act like theyre mad about asking then if they're done with that particular machine. Some locations do not have sanitary wipes readily available and I don't see a lot of people using them to wipe down equipment after they're done with them. I haven't gotten sick with a flu or cold in a long time until I joined the gym this year, now I'm sick all the time. Really don't enjoy going. Also really bothered by trying to change in the locker room and people's kids are running around in the locker room. I've had my drink knocked over and my clothes knocked on the floor in the locker room by unattended children running past the benches. I was told by a staff member that vent Fitness is banking on people signing up for memberships and then not showing up to use them so I guess you're trying to make it as uncomfortable as you can just to collect the money. Also some locations you go in the temperature is extremely warm, other locations the temperature is extremely cool. What's the deal?

I love going to VENT fitness. I love knowing that I can work out on clean machines and get a refreshing drink afterwards. And the employees are so welcoming and polite. Thank you so much VENT fitness! Definitely has been helping me reinvent myself:).

I have been to several gyms/fitness centers over the years. Vent Fitness is by far, the absolute best! I joined the Guilderland center because there's a pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and oxygen bar. They have dozens of great classes to choose from too. The staff are all wonderful, and the place is kept immaculate!
