As part of my layoff package, my employer had arranged a package with Velvet Jobs. I thought this could be a useful resource, and I had a great experience working with Luann! She helped me improve my stale CV and LinkedIn profile, making them more compelling and aligned with my career goals. Her approach is based on research and the most up-to-date best practices, while focusing on practical and actionable advice. Her insights on positioning my skills and experience were incredibly valuable, and I’ve already seen a noticeable difference in how my profile attracts potential opportunities. Thank you for your help and guidance!

I really like my experience thus far with VelvetJobs. Working with Amanda has been great and I really feel that the help with rebuilding my resume and cover letter, as well as the video calls have been essential in getting me back into the job market post lay off.

Amanda’s wonderful personality made her incredibly approachable and easy to talk to. She crafted an outstanding cover letter and resume for me, and I successfully updated my LinkedIn profile thanks to her insightful suggestions. I am grateful to my former employer for providing this service for me. If you're looking for a job or looking to hire an employee, I highly recommend Velvet Jobs.

VelvetJobs has been extremely helpful while I'm on the hunt for my next role. My career coaching expert James B. has been very responsive and provided a veteran coaching touch to tailor my resumé and career history to different roles. They work around your schedule and needs to get you/your resumé noticed by employers. I recommend getting an upgraded plan as well. The time you spend with them will only improve how you appear to companies for top open roles and the more feedback, questions and information you provide to them, the more you will see the kind of results you want (job offers!). In a extremely competitive market, they provide the edge and experience you need to land that new role you've always wanted.

James Bivens revamped my resume. He was very experience, professional, friendly and easy to work with. Service was fast and the resume looked great and he also created a great cover letter.

Luann was extremely helpful and professional in her approach to coaching. She is patient and supportive throughout the process. Luann’s experience plays a big factor in my confidence to learn from her.

While the help with my resume and cover letter was great what I found really outstanding and useful was Amanda’s one on one walkthroughs of how to handle reaching out to recruiters and how to navigate the interview process and discussing what questions to ask. Especially as it seems these days more companies are utilizing recorded interviews Amanda’s guidance was very helpful.
