The site is very easy to use! You can narrow down your search by city, date, job, ect. You can easily apply with one click once your profile is made. VelvetJobs had more jobs than any other site and usually had them before any other sites. Canceling is also super easy!

Other than the cost of service, this is a great site to find opportunities in the Entertainment business.

VelvetJobs had unique job postings I was unable to find elsewhere included updated, relevant information. It was worth paying for. However, I did not get too many responses from the jobs I applied to via VelvetJobs. It's always more helpful to have an "in" at the company you are applying to. The customer service representatives were always attentive and friendly, too.

Velvet Jobs is very easy to use. In addition to searching by location, you can search by job function, company, or keyword. You can also favorite jobs. The website continually posts new jobs daily, making a subscription worth it. Additionally, their customer service is extremely prompt and helpful. I would recommend Velvet Jobs. The only thing I think Velvet Jobs could improve on is to add more jobs from smaller companies. It is great to see all of the new, for example, Disney jobs, but at the same time, I could also go to Disney website and view the jobs myself. I guess Velvet Jobs makes it easier by saving you searching time, but I would like to see some more jobs from smaller companies. Overall, I would recommend Velvet Jobs!

I really liked the feel and presentation of the jobs on VelvetJobs.com. The website presented jobs to me that I wanted to apply for more than any other job board I was using at the time. I like the functionality of the site and it presented me with specific search filters that I thought was intuitive. I always started my daily search with Velvet Jobs and got excited when I found a post that I felt I should apply for. I never interviewed for a job I replied to on Velvet Jobs but the jobs posted to the site and the experience of using Velvet Jobs pushed me to continue to use job boards. My job search ended with the perfect job for me which I connected with through personal contacts but I feel that reading and researching jobs with Velvet Jobs help me to focus on how to present myself through cyber applications and I would recommend anyone in the Fashion or Entertainment/Media fields to use Velvet Jobs as part of their job search

It is nice to finally have a fashion only based website when looking for jobs - really love the site! Only complaint is they often keep up OLD job postings and the service is a bit pricey. Otherwise it is refreshing to have a fashion based job hunter and the website is very easy to use.

The listing of current available jobs, career opportunities, etc., on VelvetJobs is quite extensive. I found the jobs listed that pertained to me were up to date with good descriptions of the position and current contact information. A really useful, easy to use site. Probably the best job site I've seen.

Was testing the service as an employer and found the market not to be right for the role we're trying to fill, however the platform was clean and seamless. In canceling my subscription, the customer service staff was very helpful and friendly. Will certainly keep it in mind for future roles both as an employer and job seeker.
