VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

My experience with VelvetJobs has been nothing short of impressive. Email responses and meeting attendance was timely letting me know they are serious about helping me. Joy Cohen was an absolute delight to work with; she is extremely knowledgeable but also constantly asked for my input/feedback and made sure I was comfortable with every decision made regarding my resume and cover letter. I never felt rushed and always felt like I was Joy's only client. My final resume and cover letter well exceeded my expectations and I'm excited to use them in my job search. In my last session Joy gave me some invaluable feedback and tips to boost visibility of my LinkedIn profile and attract attention of recruiters and hiring managers. I would recommend VelvetJobs without hesitation.

Great experience with Velvet jobs. Not only did I get a much needed update to my resume, I also received valuable information I can use when the interview offers start.

Great website, helped me find several unique opportunities that would not normally be available. Easy to use and site is professional looking and easy to navigate.

Great to work with. Very responsive. Great opportunity to have a fresh set of eyes on your existing resume or get experienced help if you are starting from scratch. The coaching sessions helped me to realize how important it is to sell yourself in interviews and be more prepared to answer questions. I had a few interviews shortly afterwards and felt the coaching sessions I had really helped give excellent answers to the questions. I had two job offers to choose from.

VelvetJobs employees are very professional, they truly i have your best interest at heart. My career coach Shawna made me very comfortable and worked with on my available dates & times and made sure that i was satisfied with her services and encouraged me to ask questions.

The coaching, feedback, and services provided by VelvetJobs was excellent. Steve is a veteran who quickly enabled me with the fundamental tools, updates, and coaching required to change employers in today's marketplace. I will go back to VelvetJobs for additional services as needed.

I was impressed with the personal and professional services that Velvet provided to my company. I worked closely with Christina on my very sensitive project. She not only worked diligently with my staff, but kept me informed all along he way through the process - which was key. The positive feedback I received from my staff proved that we made the right choice in selecting this firm.

The hardest part is taking that first step, and for me the first step was putting together my resume. Luckily I was able to have someone else do it for me. I think they call that delegating. I hopped on a 15 min call with Tammy, she knew which questions to ask and where to elaborate. I was amazed by what she came back with, new resume, professional summary, updated LinkedIn, and cover letter all capturing my personality, work ethic, and career highlights. It was painless.
