VelvetJobsReviews of velvetjobs.com

I was very happy working with the career counselor. She had very practical advice and was able to be specific for my situation.

I came across VelvetJobs through a service my previous employer provided to individuals who were laid off from the company. This was my first time experiencing ANY of this (a layoff, resume writing, etc.) and I was very grateful that Meghan was assigned to my case. She worked with me on my resume and cover letter and was very thorough with the entire process. The initial phone call gave me relief that my resume was in good hands and not just passed off to a random person. Had I not been laid off I don't know WHEN I would've attempted to go into a different field. And through this "blessing in disguise", I came out of this process with a transferable resume that'll allow me to apply within other fields. :)

Thank you Amanda for being patient and working with me. It’s been a pleasure working with you. You are very professional and have great career advice.

Excellent service and great info!!

Offcourse you have to pay a small fee for the service but nothing is free in life. Within 2 weeks of changing my resume template to Velvets format I got 4 interview calls and I got offer from one. The resume formats are crisp and if the content is correctly filled in the resume will stand out. Good luck using Velvet. Thank you Velvet team!!!

Thank you, Alexandra. You have been a great help for me.

The consultant I worked with was fantastic! Steve was professional, personable and immensely helpful in my career support. I worked with him on a resumé review and career coaching. With his help and confidence boost, I feel prepared for finding work that is meaningful to me!

Great experience working with Steve Klubock, on reworking my resume and developing the appropriate cover letter. The coaching sessions on interviewing in the current market environment were not just helpful but easy to incorporate into my value statement. Appreciate all the support.
