James B has been a great help to me as I try to find a new job since I was recently laid off. It's a little scary trying to find a new career direction after you have been on the same road for so many years.

Bethany was helpful and encouraging helping me to move into a direction of business ownership which is something I had wanted to do for some time. I appreciate her coaching and the time she took to help me with my search for the ‘next thing’.

VelvetJobs outplacement service was offered to me by my employer due to layoffs. Amanda Stadel was assigned from VelvetJobs to support me shape my profile and prepare for interviews. Amanda made a huge impact in shaping my CV. With my enhanced CV, I was surprised with how much reach outs from the positions I applied for, which was obviously due to the structure and the content of the CV created by Amanda. Amanda was also supporting me in Interviews preparations, one session was how to effectively pitch an introduction, and the second session was about a specific position that I sent to Amanda, and she was able to create an interview simulation with interesting questions regarding the position. She also gave me materials to prepare for the future interviews, and kept in touch to know how the interviews went. I highly recommend VelvetJobs as an outplacement service and definitely Amanda if you need support for your next career step.

James was fantastic to work with! After an unexpected layoff, James assisted me right away by reviewing my resume and creating a cover letter for me to use for all future applications. Very thankful to James and VelvetJobs for their assistance during my search.

I cannot thank James enough for his incredible help during my sudden job search. After a 40-year career without ever needing a resume, I was overwhelmed and didn’t know where to start. James stepped in and created an outstanding resume after just a quick conversation with me. His ability to capture my experience, skills, and career accomplishments so perfectly was truly impressive. He made the process seamless and stress-free, and I felt confident submitting the resume he crafted. I highly recommend James to anyone in need of professional, high-quality resume assistance.

James has been incredibly helpful in getting my resume and documentation in order, interview prep, and the job search itself. I'd been out of the loop for this process for a number of years, and it would've been considerably more difficult without his attention to detail, and careful considerations. Highly recommended!
