Great heater. Works good! Few thing to be better. Fuel pump noise is little bit louder. I needed one more exhaust pipe to run from heater to muffler. Air vent outlet, I can’t control that hot air blow straight, Only up down and side but not straight. This heater makes my winter camping level up to luxury.

Ordering was a great experience. Bought when on sale around (shortly after) Black Friday. Shipped in a timely manner, and for traveling freight across the country it arrived rather quickly. Most importantly it was packed unbelievably well which I was concerned about. Packed in a rather heavy duty crate with metal reinforced edges, getting damaged wasn't too much of a concern (obviously anything can happen from a deliverer who doesn't care, but mine arrived in perfect condition). Had all the hardware needed though it was missing one nut for some reason (QA missed something, shame, but I had lots in the shop), instructions were fine. My only real complaint is the bracket and gasket squeezes the roof flat. Well, roofs aren't flat, no manufacturer has a flat roof. It'd be nice to have brackets with a slight dome to them, even if the dome rise is different across different vehicles, meet in the middle somewhere or at least the minimum, anything better than flat. Other concerns like the electrical loom didn't have ample space and had to squeeze really tight between the unit and bracket was also a pain, but it worked. Unit works fine, I bench tested before installing (with a power system also set up on bench, testing it all there too). It think the mini is a great system for a small van, seemed ample cooling. I'm in a LWB Transit, not extended, and it seems fine. I also like the extra roof space it'll give me over a full size unit. Installing was fine as a DIYer. It's a light-ish unit for an AC, but extra hands help. I have my van parked a couple feet away from the deck of my house and had a helper slide it down a short ramp to me from the deck to the roof (sounds crazy but we had control over it the whole time, working slow). Much easier than carrying up a ladder, even though it's only about 35 pounds it's awkward. Only other complaint is it comes with a somewhat universal remote, kind of a crappy one, with a bunch of buttons that don't do anything, and the functioning buttons felt universal-remote-like and less intuitive than if it had a more specific remote designed for the unit. But truth be told, we probably won't use the remote anyway, easy enough to control it via the unit. But we might if it had a nicer remote. The price for it makes so much more sense to me than a similar unit for way more money, and the units that are more than twice as much come on. A few more cooling BTUs might help a larger van but a small van that's insulated well will be just fine. All in all, a great unit and great experience and I'd do it again if/when I need to.

Order and shipment went great. I won't know about the units performance until I get it installed and use it next may on our month long trip to Utah.

The unit was easy to install and work right off the bat! Its low power consumption is awesome! Still not perfect though since not all the functions from the remote seems to be active, the main one for me is the night mode not shutting down the display which is annoying when complete darkness is our preferred ambience when at sleep.

I bought a rooftop AC unit for use on a van. I was hesitant at first after watching reviews on YouTube. Most reviews were done in mild climates and not in the Southern United States. Living in Texas and working in Texas I survived the Texas heat and humidity comfortably. The installation and operation is easy and simple. Run time is quiet and the ability to turn off display while running is great. On a recent trip meeting family in the Hill Country of Texas I was asked if the family dog could stay in my van while visiting local brewery and while we walked around the downtown of Fredericksburg visiting shops. The temperature at midday around 100 early August while Annie the dog relaxed in a cool 75 degree comfortable van. Very satisfied with the performance.

2000U under bench AC. The unit is OK. The first one arrived broken, and the second did as well but it was relatively easy to repair. Installation was OK, although the manual is terrible, it could really use some translation work. The hardware is just acceptable, with the hose clamps being a bit hard to tighten, and the outside air vents being a bit flimsy and not long enough to pass through more than about 1/4inch wall thickness. The electronics/remote feel like low to medium grade Chinese stuff, they work but fit, finish, and feel is a bit funky. The unit itself seems pretty efficient and cools well for my small trailer. The fans and compressor are a bit rattly, but overall it is quiet and effective. I gave this 4 stars instead of 2-3 because the customer service has been great by Velit, and I do have some confidence that the warranty will be honored if needed and spare parts would be available. This product is a good start, but needs some refinement to feel really high quality and match the price tag.

Great 12 volt AC unit. Running on high at 68 degrees with fan set to max uses very little power. Full sun with 600 watts of solar and 200ah lithium battery my Victron Smart Shunts shows unlimited run time. Install was a little tricky into my existing 14"x14" opening after I removed my AC. Would suggest 3 people for the install.
