We are so grateful for the care and compassion that the VEG team treated us and our cat with today.

The staff at VEG er Green Bay were kind, empathetic, and worked so hard to save my little Beagle boy's life. They did not leave us for a second! Even though Georgie did not survive, the depth of their kindness helped us navigate the tragedy and deep sorrow of losing him. We are grateful to the team of doctor's and nurses who showed up for us that day. They also arranged his cremation so we could focus on mourning his loss. Thank you all for being the kind and attentive people we needed in a very dark and difficult moment of our lives

Late night death of my 17 year old cat Tyler, needed him taken care of in a decent fashion. Place was hopping on a Saturday night. Staff was kind and caring, many nice little touches including writing Tyler's name with a heart on the door of our room, sending a sympathy card to my home with personal little notes, hand-signed by staffers. It was a bit pricey, but money was secondary at that point.

Dr Blutinger and his merry staff of VEGimites were incredible to say the least. They are masters of dealing with real animal emergencies as well as guiding the humans who are emotional when bringing in their 4 legged (2 legs as well we saw birds) loved ones who are in distress. We have had many dogs and cats over the years and this was truly the most impressive set of people in an ER setting so we highly recommend VEG. In our case it was more than reasonable in cost as well. In all that time we were there (8 plus hours for a blood transfusion as they are a blood bank) saw emergencies come in and nobody waited more than 60 seconds before a doctor was in front of them and their animal was on a table. Yes it’s a different experience because you’re literally in it and you are part of the experience which is emotional even though it’s not your animal, but we came out of there in all honesty better pet parents for seeing other people going through things and how it was being handled. Imagine how rare it is for you to be able to be with your pet during this entire process vs the usual stress of being separated at other facilities. This should be the norm and was the original reason we chose VEG.

i went with my friend to take her cat who was in distress and this place was better then any animal hospital I have had to go to. I think there should be more of these places, the people that work there are not just good at their jobs but are the most caring individuals i have ever met in bad situations. Being a pet owner and being an old woman i have had to visit many animal hospitals in the past and this place not only is OPEN 24/7 but the price was so much lower then what was expected. People hospitals could learn from this place on how to treat other

Small dog needed emergency caesarian as pups too large to pass birth canal. Vet tech, unfortunately didn't catch her name, was wonderful. She kept me informed, I was able to stay with dog until she was taken into the operating room. As soon as she was awake/in cage to recover more, I was able to see and pet her. Unfortunately one pup was stillborn and other was crying as soon as they had him out. Dr Davison was great, can't thank both vet tech and veterinarian enough. Both caring for my dog. Unfortunately, had experience with two other emergency vet hospitals that didn't let me in with dog for exam. At one facility, when wife picked up pups, they were cold, hospital never warmed them after c-section and died within 24 hours. Only negative thing was cost, but that's the way it is with medical care everywhere.

VEG ER Dr Fiore is an incredible , caring , empathetic, kind, professional veterinarian. She is in a class all by herself. I only wish she did private veterinary work. Her empathy and compassion is unmatched Sydney is the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful soul that I have ever met and it was during one of the most difficult times of my life Our beautiful sweet dog Lucky had to be put to sleep and it was one of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make My fur baby was suffering He was in so much pain. He couldn’t walk. He wouldn’t eat or drink. VEG put us in a private room. They gave us all the time we needed. Sydney took care of us as if we were her own family. I requested Dr Fiore as she had helped save my dog Porsche a few weeks prior. She said it would be her honor. She examined him and explained the situation. She explained the steps before and during it. We were all crying and Dr Fiore and Sydney were so comforting to us. The experience was as good as it could be considering the situation. After it was over Sydney asked us to tell her about Lucky. She made paw prints and nose prints and again asked us if we needed more time. She was an angel. I just want everyone to know the humanity and kindness that VEG Carle Place on Glen Cove Road showed my sweet Lucky and my family. We couldn’t have found a more compassionate group of people to help us through one of our most difficult moments. Thank you Dr Fiore, Sydney and the entire staff of VEG ER Carle place. Sydney you have the most difficult job and you handle it with such humanity, kindness, and such innate caring. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are an incredible human being.

Our dog was dying. I called and they met us at the door. The staff was so kind and understanding. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. Angels sent from heaven.
