Satisfactory service.
I don't like the multiple phone calls about low battery when there is not problem with the system.

I have enjoyed services with Vector. Although I am not able to confirm that I received credit for my referral, I feel this was the only area of concern for me. I still feel that Vector is the best security company out there and will still recommend them to everyone.

When there is a question or concern (and it is infrequent), Vector solves the problem. My only issue is finding out which phone number to call.

Vector has provided good service over the years. They solved or helped me solve problems with the system. Watch out. If you need a service call to replace a sensor, etc, you're going to pay for it. I found out the hard way. Also, if you go from hard wired phone service to VOIP, you will need a wireless box and will end up paying more for it. I found that out the hard way, too. I changed and when my box showd no signal, I called the Office and they explained it. They did take care of the problem in a professional manner. The touch screen box works well. Every so often, the system will arm itself. This makes life interesting at times. If I discover it, I just turn it off. So far, I have not had any uninvited minions of the law visiting me.

I've had no break ins which would be a real test of Vector's performance, but I have faith that they would respond if needed. All the equipment has worked great. Staff has called when I inadvertently shut off the power w/o letting them know.. I am pleased with the contract length and price. We'll see how I feel when renewal time comes up :)

He worked in a efficient and friendly manner with the expertise needed.

Response times have been great. I got a great deal when i first signed with them; however, they don't do much in the way of deals to keep customers. I usually get one month free with a renewal of a year. That is less than 10% a month discount. It would be nice if they gave a lower rate to those who renew especially since I own the equipment at this point.

The only issue I can recall in the three plus years that we've had Vector Security occurred during a town-wide power outage - just wanted to know how long the battery backup would function after power loss (48 hours). Thankfully, I've never had the opportunity to test out just how well the response times are- and hopefully I never will.
