Everyone I have ever spoken with has been very courteous and polite. The people selling their srvice, who I must assume were contracted, were running a scam. They take advantage of the fine print and next thing you know your stuck paying for FIVE YEARS after they tell you it's three. Ultimately it's all on me for not taking the time but I'm not an idiot and would never agree to a 5 year contract. Looking back over the contract that I requested be sent to me I believe some of the places where my initials are look possibly forged. But, it's my word against theirs. With all the available services out there and options for connected homes now Vector is simply average and mediocre with a long term contract.

According to Vector, there alarm must sound for 30 seconds or more before the police are summoned. This is enough time for an intruder to enter the house, and cause great harm. Neither the service nor the customer support are worth the cost.

I've had problems with the door locks, a crappy camera that don't stay focus or set, I've had more service people trying to fix their system, Besides the sales represents no longer work for them and stuck me into a 5 year contract that gives me no lead way or feeling secure in my home, I'm a cancer patient, paraplegic, and lives with my wife. A customer affairs rep. Michelle, though nice offer to knock off ten dollars, I settled for the camera to feel more secure in my home. I see other systems that is offering better system & service then I'm getting from Vector, I really want out of the contract because the rep that wrote the contract lied about my options. He just wanted the sell and the money.

Call to discontinue service due to lost of job, company was to sent cancel letter to my email address, letter never sent. Company claims they sent it out. Company claim to sent statements/letter to physical address. I inform company that I never get mail at physical address and I had phone company with my mailing address, but they claim never to have receive, but I have a letter sent from company dated October 12, 2009 Dear valued Customer sent to my mailing address.

My alarm system keep going on and off, call them, the say the will not look at it until my bill is current.WOW.

I have been a customer of Vector for almost 20 years, but I am currently looking for a new security company. I plan to switch to a new company very soon. The quality of customer service at Vector has sunk so low that its representatives have begun insulting the customers. I hope my recent conversation with the service department was recorded. Service calls, even for those of us with a service contract, are difficult to schedule and a long time in the future.

Was told one thing about the contract that I had but ended up with a three year contract about the cost of another alarm company with cameras and cell phone technology. Spoke with Vector about it to no avail. Will never in my life purchase another system nor recommend them!

This company is horrible! They promised stuff and didnt deliver. They also make accounts go negative. They forage signatures on contracts that they dont even tell you about. They say you can cancel any time but thats not true. This company and Total Connect Solutions is fraudulent foraging company and they lie and cheat.
