Knowledge Follow up Attention to small details

The trip was first class from beginning to end. The trip was well planned and well paced. Our guide Gustavo was beyond fabulous. Gabrielle at Vaya and Gustavo made our trip fun filled and memorable !!

Vaya thought of everything -- transfer to and from airports, hotels, and points of interest. Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley were wonders with the help of our guide and his trusted driver. All the accommodations were wonderful and welcomed after a long day of visiting all the locations. Also, the personal touch came when we arrived on the boat in the Galapagos and found a bottle of wine to celebrate a significant birthday.

The guides were very knowledgeable. They also advised where activities might be challenging & made suggestions accordingly IE you may want your hiking poles, or hiking boots needed, expect mud. I felt very safe and was met at every transition point: plane, boat, bus. Each move was explained ahead of time , along with schedules, & meals. Excellent communication.

On our recent trip to South Africa, Vaya Travel exceeded our expectations with luxury accommodation, seamless arrangements and remarkably unique recommendations on places of interest and knowledgeable guides worthy of mention. We enjoyed a truly memorable experience with plenty of pleasant surprises. Our experienced and enthusiastic planner, Dervla Pinto, deserves special recognition in tracking our trip and providing sound advice for our available free time. All of our game drive guides, hotel service staff, and accommodations were second to none. Pleasant surprises included a stunning outdoor sculpture garden exhibiting the works of Dylan Lewis; a customized culinary tour of some of the most interesting establishments in Cape Town and probably one the most historically knowledgeable and passionate guides Durban has to offer (Cyril) who then pleasantly enough was our driver to/from the game resorts and shared more information and insights on South Africa in general. In a way, We went to SA to see the animals (and yes, oh my we did) BUT, there was so much else we enjoyed and that we would have never known about without the guidance of Devrla and the entire team. We visited in February and were warned that it was the rainy season – it was, be prepared with some additional clothes so the soaking wet ones can dry out if you visit in the rainy season.

They will answer any and all questions, very friendly, look after you from the first flight till you are on your way home. We had a flight cancel on our first flight, that they did not book, but still knew where we were and even sent us a botte of wine while on our cruise for our inconvenience. Great company to work with, Jeff was a true star employee.

The experience was made great by the top-notch accommodations. The attention to detail of the staff at the One and Only Lodge was outstanding. The trekking expeditions with both the chimpanzees and especially the gorillas was an unforgettable memory! The actions of the trackers and guides on both treks was exceptional. Vaya did a great job with the accommodation selections and the overall format of the itinerary. We basically circumnavigated the entire country. There was a lot of different experiences and our guide, Nuuru was a wonderful enhancement to our adventure. He added so many interesting facts and overall knowledge of the country.
