Great support, took some patience but got there Had a tricky configuration issue on my hosted machine (kaalia authentication, file permissions, and a silent systemd conflict that kept the service crashing). It took a bit of back and forth to get a response, but once support engaged, they were thorough and genuinely helpful in tracking down the root cause. Everything is now running smoothly and the machine is listed and earning. Appreciated the patience and technical know-how from the team — would recommend, just budget a little time for the first response.

I was having issues hosting on vast.ai and everyone I talked to said I should reach out to support. I've dealt with many tech support lines. The support rep I got, many was by far the BEST support rep I've ever encountered, he didn't want me to go through frivioulous steps because he was reading from a book. I hosted my rig on Vast.ai approximately 6 months ago, and the earnings are visible in my dashboard. However, when I try to withdraw my funds, none of the available digital payment options work successfully. I have attempted multiple withdrawal methods, but the payments are not being received. I have also been in contact with support, but the issue remains unresolved despite several exchanges.

Very helpful support, helped me with multiple issues and were very kind while doing so. They have found a solution each time i message them.

I rented a GPU instance on a Vast.ai Verified host and paid $231 upfront for a full month. Shortly after, I discovered the host had silently reduced the GPU performance by 22% with no notice and no price adjustment — I was paying full price for a degraded machine. On top of that, the instance went completely offline with no prior warning. For the last 6 days I have been unable to work on the machine I paid for. It is simply inaccessible. I filed a formal complaint by email 15 days ago. Got one automated-sounding reply saying someone would "look into it." Nothing since. No resolution, no credit, no explanation. I paid in advance in good faith. Vast.ai themselves verified this host - a data center — that means they vouched for it. Yet here I am, weeks later, with money spent and nothing to show for it. I am now considering a chargeback as the only option left. I expected much more from a company I already spent hundreds.

always cheap gpus available and their customer support responds crazy fast

I have been using Vast.ai for over 6 months. For the first 3 months everything has been working smoothly. But the last 3 months have been disastrous... Rented instances removed GPUs while still charging the full price. They restarted my instances without warning on multiple occasions. Copy/Paste function between instances stopped working etc. Support is useless because they don't know what vast.ai even does, they just tell you to try again and pretend everything is user error, not platform error. Don't waste your money there, it's extremely frustrating.
