They could write a book on how to lose customers through a pandemic by charging them every hidden fee and for months not used (because... corona).... instead of just working with peopleand holding their membership. Honestly have been the worst

want to cancel your membership? too bad.
Only way to cancel your membership is to call their support phone number.
what happens if their support doesnt pick up?
well after 30 min of hold time your call is disconnected with no option to leave a voice message
What hapepns if I can't leave a VM to cancel my membership?
well they send your info to collections and ding your credit till you can pay all your late fee's and built up monthly memberships
horrible gym. go somewhere else. they couldnt care less about you, just looking for your wallet.

No Cancellation Fees is a lie. They still charge.
Due to the coronavirus they have been closed, and even though they just opened, they are open at a limited capacity. Due to this, my family decided to cancel. When we started this program, we were told that there would not be a cancellation fee after we were members for 6 months. We have now been members for over a year and a half, and when I went to cancel, they charged me $19.99 a person to cancel. I wrote them an email explaining all this, and all I got back was a reply on how to cancel and that you have to give a 30 day notice to cancel, which is why they charged the $19.99 each. This does not make sense when they have not been open and were not charging us because they weren't open. Furthermore, they have only been open for 3 days now, and are no longer offering all the amenities that I originally agreed to, so they should not be charging for something they cannot supply. BEWARE!!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THIS GYM, THEIR MEMBERSHIP IS NOT WHAT THEY SAY IT IS.

Honestly if I could leave a no star I would......
Honestly if I could leave a no star I would. Vasa told me that they were a no contract gym and there was no hidden fees but as the month went on they lied about all of it. I had a year few come out that they told me that wouldn’t come out so had to live with that. But when I called they said they mentioned that to me but they never did and so very disappointed on th way they run the gym and as the covid 19 stuff they didn’t handle that at all well and my account never froze and I was still getting charged for using the gym even though they were closed so after evrything I canceled which on top of that was another hidden fee and my experience with them was very bad and would never go back to them no matter what happened. Again very disappointed and unsatisfied with the management and the entire facility.

Really disappointed in how they have…
Really disappointed in how they have handled things during the covid19 pandemic. I was assured my account would freeze and charge no fee until we were able to come back. However pulling the maintainence and membership fee for march out in April made things more difficult.

Terrible Place/Breaking the Law during COVID-19 Shutdown
Terrible Place! During the COVID-19 shutdown I lost my job, I cannot pay my rent, utilities, phone, and can't even pay for food myself and family. For over a month now I have not been able to use the gym and services they provided due to the government shutdown. When things like this happens any normal person the first thing they will do is turn off or cancel services that they can't use. The first priority of any person should be to first feed their families and pay the bills that keeps a roof over their heads. Well, this company seems to think that they should come first before anyone else, before family, be even the individual. This is what I call company greed and the lack of care for people specially during times such as these. I was nice enough to contact them and make them aware of my situation. I am losing my place where I live. I cannot pay rent, can't pay utilities, phone, etc. Because of this I am forced to move out of state where there is no Vasa Fitness. I requested to cancel my account, and when I did so I was flooded with emails from them telling me that I am required to still pay. I am being asked to pay monthly dues and cancellation fees. When I explained to them my reason and issues. I was again sent a second email stating that I have to pay and they attached a terms of agreement form. On the terms of agreement there is nothing that talks about government shutdown issues. I also was never given a physical form to read before me signing up. If anyone else is experiencing this problem I am going to file a report with BBB, report them to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct officials, and I will open up a lawsuit that will require them to pay for all of the filing, damages that I am pursuing, and any additional fees. If anyone else wants to come in on this please contact me.
