Vasa’s billing isn’t forthright. The gym was nice but I joined solely because of the childcare hours were optimal. I had the first month 1/13-2/13 free. I began paying starting 2/13. In March, I was charged even though they closed. I was also charged a $76 monthly rate guarantee. I called and then emailed, because I kept getting charged for subsequent months. A freeze was put on the account. They begin charging even when I explained I wasn’t able to attend. Finally, on 3/2/21, when I called and was informed they weren’t going to have childcare anytime soon, I decided to cancel. They charged me $160 to cancel because I had to pay for the following month and the annual monthly rate guarantee, since it was a year later!!! Total for attending 2 months (1st month was supposed to be free) I was charged $460. Wish I had never joined. They are definitely not reputable.

Bogus billing and strong arm collections from Vasa Fitness. I have not been to this gym in well over a year and a half and quit going during the pandemic. I had to move from the area. My bill was $20.00 per month and I noticed that Vasa Fitness had put a $375.00 debt collection on my credit bureau. They employed a debt collection attorney to pursue an outrageous debt which I feel is way out of line especially since I have not been there in a long time and there is a pandemic in effect. You would think that a large corporation would have compassion during a pandemic but not Vasa. I had to pay this bill to get it off my credit bureau. So make no mistake about it. Vasa will go after your credit bureau to collect any debt they seem fit. They use a debt collection attorney who will threaten legal action if they are not paid. Do yourself a favor and NEVER sign a contract with this bogus company who is all about the money. I am currently searching for any Class Action lawsuits I can join to go after this company. There are plenty of other gyms in Denver that do not operate this way. I hope this helps your decision on what gym you choose.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. I had a Fitness 19 membership and canceled it in November 2020. When they shut down, they gave their contract to VASA. I use to work for VASA and no longer want to go workout somewhere where I have worked. I called in December to see why I was being charged by VASA and they said that I never canceled my fitness 19 membership and I owe them now. I told her I do not want the membership so please cancel it. Here I am February 25th, 2021 telling you they are still trying to charge me. This is the second customer service representative that I have spoken to that is heartless and rude about me loosing my job due to COVID-19. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I wish it was possible to give negative amount of stars. Vasa fitness would receive -5 stars. Avoid this establishment like the plague Or plan on having a membership with them for your entire life. It is nearly impossible to cancel your membership. I tried for six months, then try to get a refund for all the months I was charged but was told (by Jason D. via email) that I could not get a refund even though I have an email thread with multiple requests trying to cancel. Get a gym membership ANYWHERE else or you will bleed money.

My gym went out of business around March 2020 while my membership was paused. My gym facility has been vacant ever since. I just learned that my credit card has been charged by Vasa Fitness every month since September 2020 (6 months - we do not use this card often and it's on auto-pay). That would be fine if someone had ever told us our membership was purchased, but they did not. When I called about this they claimed to have emailed in September before beginning to charge. I do not delete old emails and when I looked there was no email from Vasa or from their payment processor Paramount Acceptance about me now being a member. To be sure, there were later promotional emails in my inbox, but no email letting me know they bought my membership and were about to charge me $52/month. Never mind that the maximum price for their services is $49.99 - they just kept charging what my prior, much higher end gym charged. They stated the only thing they could do was cancel my membership. So, long story short, I was charged $312 by this gym for a service I didn't even know existed.

I put a freeze on my membership, at which time I was told I would receive an email before my membership resumed. The same day I called to freeze, they charged my wife and I $50. After some effort we got a credit (NOT a refund) Our membership then resumed without our knowledge or the advanced notice in the form of an email that was promised. Credit was applied to month 1, without my knowledge. Month 2 was charged the day after Christmas and unfortunately I missed it on the credit card statement (maybe I could have noticed this, but should I have had to?) then we spotted the 3rd month charge, I called the next day I was informed that I should have tracked the freeze myself to know when it was coming off...then that I would not be able to get any of the $150 in unused services refunded and that they were “going to allow me” to cancel without charge So I am now $150 out of pocket for services unused and left with no course unless I can find the money to fight in small claims court, which will likely cost more than it’s worth Overall pretty appalled with the service

This gym will kill you in fees, as most folks have already mentioned on here. Cancellations, annually, you name it. Look somewhere else.

Been a member for years. I am a senior so have not gone for 10 months since beginning of COVID. I called today to cancel membership (yes, paid through out the entire period of COVID). They told me I had to pay more than $50 to cover cancel fee, maint fee and whatever else they were trying to tack on. I explained I haven't been there in 10 months and should not have to pay the maint fee. I asked what would happen if I didn't pay it and was told they would bill me every month and then it would go to collections !!! Really??? Thank you VASA FITNESS for your kind understanding. Hope you feel good about ripping off seniors, standing on your "it's in the contract."
