My dogs (& I) have fallen in love with bully sticks (aka pizzle sticks). They are a treat that last longer than anything else on the market and when it comes to entertaining puppies - they are well worth it. But I didn't want to spend a fortune on them (there are other companies that sell them for a pretty penny). Then I found Value Pet Supplies!!! They have great one-ingredient dog treats like bully sticks, pig ears, and collagen sticks for a good price. They always have coupons when you sign up for emails - and the treats keep my puppies entertained for a good while!! Yay!!

I bought a case of the collagen sticks. They came wrapped individually for no apparent reason in a lot of cute, printed kraft paper but were actually packaged in plastic. I would have prefered to not have to deal with the extraneous paper plus I don't like to waste paper like that. The wrappings were certainly not needed for shipping as they were wrapped like presents or butcher shop meat so the wrapping did not supply cushioning for an item that does not require cushioning. My dog is only semi interested in these compared to pizzle sticks. He mostly tries to find places in the house to "bury" these like between the cushions in the couch and chairs. I won't buy these again and will go back to the bully sticks which every dog I've ever had loves. He has yet to finish one of these but leaves the gooey half chewed sticks in the furniture.

My poodles prefer the pig ears to the cow ears, so I've been sending the cow ears to my son's German Shepherd who takes one into her cage every night for bedtime.
