I ran the Gen1 for 12 great years being the leader of the pack. Just recently upgraded the Gen2 and wow, V1 just reset the bar again. The detection range is incredible. Excellent customer service throughout the upgrade process. I could not be more satisfied.

Incredible technology in the V1 Gen 2. A 5 year user with great customer service experience. Had a single product return for a warranty issue and it was quickly resolved. Several orders for additional accessories and again no problem.

Owned my V1 Gen2 since 2021 and it has worked perfectly. Great warnings and zero tickets or warnings. I still laugh when I slow down in response to an alert and others start to blow by me only to slam on their brakes when the see the V1 lit up in my windshield.

My experience is that Valentine1 makes the best radar detectors in the world bar none. Best radar detector I've ever used.

I've been a customer of Mike and his wife since the original Escort analog detector. Owned two V1 Gen 1s throughout the years and just upgraded to the Gen 2. WOW, Mrs. V, your engineers nailed it with the upgraded V2; well done! Work of art; it's sleek and focuses on the KA bands with fewer false alerts on X & K. If you own a V1 Gen1, pull the trigger; it is well worth it. They were generous enough to allow me $150 towards the upgrade!

I'd give them six stars if I could. I've been running Valentine One radar detectors for well over twenty years, and I won't leave home without one on my windshield. They simply work. They're reliable, accurate, and worth every penny. I'm not using a radar detector to "speed." I use it for situational awareness. I drive at least 120,000 miles a year all over the United States, and since I started using Valentine One, I've maintained a perfect motor vehicle record with zero moving violations. I can't think of a better endorsement of a product than that. I still have the very first Valentine One I ever bought. After a handful of factory updates over the years, it still serves as the backup unit in one of my occasional-use vehicles. I also own two of their current-generation detectors in my daily drivers, and they've been absolutely flawless. Over the years, I've heard people complain about Valentine's customer service, but that simply hasn't been my experience. I've purchased multiple detectors, sent units back for upgrades numerous times to keep current with the latest threat detection, and ordered plenty of accessories. Throughout all of those interactions, their support team has always been professional, prompt, and pleasant to work with. I've never had a bad experience. Sorry if this reads like a commercial, but it's honestly not intended to. This is simply the perspective of a very satisfied customer after more than two decades of real-world use. I have no affiliation with Valentine Research and no incentive to write this review—I just believe in recognizing companies that consistently deliver an exceptional product and stand behind it.

This company is not even taking phone calls so customer service is non-existent. Proceed with extreme caution.

Ok the radar detector is great, and I have had one of their products for like 30 years. However, call up support and they have an attitude. they are rude and condescending. They are not listening, they are just talking over you. When you try to point that out, they say "so you want someone else to tell you?" Here" and transfer the call, to someone else who does not want to hear about the problem you just had with the last representative. Clearly a small operation, perhaps family, but that does not justify their complete LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM
