This was my first time ever using a service like this, it was easy to understand and having the exact pre loaded apps I needed really helped out. The price was fair for me as an African with the exchange rate, and it delivered exactly what I had intended for this journey to begin with.

The best part of using Vagón is the experience
The best part of using Vagón is the experience I have had compared to other providers. One thing to insider is the price, I found it a little bit expensive for the use I give it. But if you value the experience on your field it could be worth it.

I use Vagon as a cloud editing machine
I use Vagon as a cloud editing machine. It’s superb, with excellent connection and almost no latency for my region. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to run hardware intensive programs. I mainly use it along with the Adobe suite, and my experience has been flawless, and the pricing is fair.

Really solid cloud PC experience with a…
Really solid cloud PC experience with a few small improvements I'd love to see
I've been using Vagon to run a cloud-based Windows PC from my Mac, primarily for a fairly demanding 3D mapping application, and overall I've been really impressed.
Getting everything set up was incredibly painless. I also appreciated the introductory offer, which included a low-cost storage trial and an hour of free computing time. It was a great way to try the service without committing much money upfront.
Performance has been solid, and I haven't encountered any major issues. I initially had trouble connecting through the browser despite the connection test reporting excellent results. However, my Mac is managed by my employer and has additional network security software, so I can't confidently attribute that issue to Vagon. Switching to their dedicated macOS application resolved the connection problem, and that's also the method Vagon recommends.
There are a few smaller things I'd like to see improved:
The streaming quality occasionally appeared to fluctuate between slightly soft or blurry and very sharp. It was particularly noticeable with fine details in the application I was using, although I can't say for certain whether this was caused by the streaming connection or the application itself.
I'd also love more control over the floating toolbar. On a single-monitor setup, it takes up a noticeable amount of usable screen space. Being able to resize it, dock it, or collapse it into something smaller while keeping it accessible would be nice. A quick-access option for the Windows on-screen keyboard would also be a welcome addition, especially when connecting from a Mac.
Finally, I'd appreciate clearer documentation about backup and restore options, particularly whether users can restore a previously backed-up virtual machine or system image. I haven't actually attempted this, so I'm not suggesting the functionality doesn't exist. It's simply something I looked for when researching the service and couldn't find a clear answer to.
Overall, these are relatively minor criticisms. The core service has been reliable, setup was easy, and the ability to access a powerful Windows machine without purchasing additional hardware is fantastic. I'm very happy with my experience so far and would definitely recommend Vagon.

Using Vagon for playing an older game with mods
I used Vagon for playing Space Rangers 2 HD, which is an obscure game that's is almost 15 years old and that specifically requires a version of Windows in the Russian language to get its unofficial community mods running. I am on a Mac, and while I could put an effort to make it run on a Mac, it would definitely take me too long to figure out how to make those mods run on my machine.
I used the cheapest option with the GPU (which costs $0.99 per hour) and that was enough to remote play this game. I could also change the Windows language to Russian, which allowed to get the mods I needed working. I had good streaming quality and good latency on regular Ethernet, comparable to what I've had with GeForce Now. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of a monthly subscription option (like aforementioned GeForce Now), which makes it quite expensive if you want to play some game regularly. The service seems to be more suited for occasional testing of stuff on a Windows machine rather than for everyday use.
