Mediocre software at best for hair salon. 2 times in 1 week their system has gone down causing major problems where clients cannot book and we cannot check them out. The accounting side of things does not match and you will spend hours reconciling. Cannot print schedules for employees so they are forced to try and look at an entire week or month on their phones. That makes it hard to pre-plan and coordinate with employees. Their solution "take a screenshot"! Ridiculous!

I have been billed for the last 18 months by Vagaro for two services I was not using that were set up by a past employee. My bad for not noticing. I called them last month, telling them I had never used the email or online shopping service, and was told they were being removed and that they would see about offering some small credit. I received the following billing statement, and the two add-on services were still on the bill. I just got off the phone and was told that the notes from the last call only mentioned one of the add-ons, which had been removed. Um, it has not been removed; you charged me for it..? He did not see any mention of the other service. I had no problem eating the cost of the mistake for many months before, but they are taking no accountability for still billing me. It's infuriating. I look forward to finding another service that won't quibble with me over $20 to $50, especially when I have already accepted my error.

I have been trying to use Vagaro's payroll software since April 1st...after more than 50 emails and 20 phone calls, it still does not work. They only have one payroll specialist named Marco. He is apparently the only person in the company that can help with payroll matters. After over 20 emails to try and fix the problem he has stopped responding to my emails and will not set up a time to chat to figure out how to resolve the problem. My employees have had to borrow money from their parents to make rent because I have been unable to pay them through Vagaro. It has been one of the most frustrating and embarrassing experiences I've had as a business owner. I would strongly recommend going with a different company.

I started a membership with this company at the end of April and had an onboarding meeting to get the software up and running for my business. They did not show up to the onboarding meeting. When importing all of my client information to the new software, nearly 80% of the information had errors that I had to spend hours correcting. I have paid for 2 months of service, but I have not even been able to use this booking software since subscribing due to all the mistakes during the import and them not showing up to the onboarding meeting to get everything set up. I requested to cancel my service on May 28th and requested a refund. They advised they will not issue a refund, however, they are requesting a $100 cancellation fee for the credit card terminal that I have not even used. I offered to send the credit card terminal back, but I just can't see how they want to charge me an extra $100 to cancel a service that I wasn't able to use due to their incompetence. I would highly advise against using this software. *update 6/5/24 As you can see from Vagaro’s response, they will still charge you $100 to cancel even if you offer to send the card reader back that you have NEVER used because they couldn’t get anything right. Disgraceful.

this software from vagaro went to crap and they don't care about the salon by doing updates during the day and when the system crashes on the buzzy day. you cant colect for services and there online is also not working. i have lost revenue because they don't pay for services that cant be collected and vagaro doesn't reimburse for lost income.dont buy into this crap pay more for a reputable company

In January I was looking for a new appointment calendar and spoke with Vagaro and looked at the calendar and decided I would stick with what I have. Months later while I’m on vacation I get a message from a woman that tells me she has an appointment and the door is locked. She tells me she made the appt. on line and I looked on line and realized that Vagaro made an online booking calendar without my permission or consent or knowledge! They said I did have an account and I told them I didn’t do it and I ask them to remove it! They told me they can’t remove it without knowing a security question but I didn’t create it someone else did it and it’s obviously Vagaro! The online calendar they created is full of false info about my business they offer services that I do not do and the price list is outrageous! It’s effecting my business and they still refuse to take it down and they are billing me! Beware and check them out on the BBB they have a 1 and that’s only because you can’t give them the zero they deserve!

Vagaro customer support is a joke. They been ripping me off for months. When you call customer support they ghost me, hang up, or just plain lie and say problem is fixed. Vagaro is charging me for merchant services I don’t have so I’m paying $60/mo instead of $50/mo. I’m in the process of moving to Square online booking. Update: I did talk to another customer support. She seen all the previous notes. The department who was supposed to fix never fix. She said she would contact department and I would receive an email tell me problem fixed and I’m supposed to receive a refund. At this time I have not received refund or email from Vagaro

When we first signed up for Vagaro 3 years ago, the overall product worked well, and issues were resolved rather quickly. After a major upgrade, which, by the way, no notifications were sent out to the customers on when/what had been updated and letting us know a major release is going to be deployed. There were MANY defects that caused major issues in our day-to-day process. When working with customer support most responses were said to be "feature" requests, even though it worked that way before. Additionally, the marketing campaign feature (emails/text) does not provide you with correct data. What they say will be "Announced" does not match what was processed and text messages are sent DAYS after it was announced. Additionally, customers are missing from the email/text campaigns and Vagaro says that to account for any missing customers that would be an "enhancement". Reallyyyyy, what is processed versus delivered/failed do not match and there are missing customers and that is considered an enhancement. Additionally, you have to submit a ticket to determine what happened and if they don't research it with a 7-day window, they respond that they can't research it. We have been going round and round for over 4 months to get these issues resolved. Very disappointed in where this application is going.
