I had to get dish because they are the only company to offer Internet at my home. Their employees are rude and lied to me! When I called with a questioned and asked to speak with a manager, a so called supervisor was rude and then hung up on me! And the equipment must be cheap because every time the dog jumps off the bed we lose connection for a minute! I guess they feel they can treat people this way and give them inferior equipment because they have a monopoly in this location! I am stuck with them for 2 years now, and am very dissatisfied.

Leave your other satellite and hop on over to Dish...it is so smashingly much better!

Good programing and easy to use DVR which we love. Still lose TV during storms but that's to be expected I guess.

I have enjoyed my DISH service. Establishing service was easy and fast.. The service man was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. So far I am pleased with my service.

Switched to Dish mainly because of internet service. Had no problem with Direct. I will say when contacting Dish about possible service, the rep I spoke to was very willing and was able to answer every question I had. I felt very comfortable that I had all info when subscribing. Installer was very efficient and had two receivers and internet installed in about an hour an a half. I will say that Direct's remote is more user friendly and has a couple of nice features. Such as the ability to access the last four channels and better interactive options. So far I am very satisfied with Dish and hope they will continue to get better.

We ordered Dish and a Tech came out to install for us to have TV and Internet service. He told us we had too many trees and we couldn't get a signal. He would then have his supervisor come out and check our house to verify. No one ever came out so I called. I was told that there wasn't any order for a follow up check up to verify. Also the Tech said we would have to give him a 100.00 dollars to get our Wireless Router. When I called to order Dish I was told by the sales agent that the wireless router was included and free. Bottom line is after making many calls and not getting any answers we finally asked to cancel the order. I found out my Visa account was also charged already and we hadn't even gotten Dish installed. I had the 2 fees credited back. Very disappointed with all the hassle we were put through and have now had Cable service installed with no aggravation.
