USDish.comReviews of usdish.com

The installation was prompt, fast, and clean. Everything worked as promised and the HD pictures are crystal clear. The variety of channels is amazing. There is less time lag between picking channels as opposed to Direct TV where you could count 5 seconds delay when changing channels. The remote requires some time to get used to. The volume buttons are small and round unlike most other remotes. Choosing closed captions is much easier than on competitors' remotes. I've used two other systems in the past and this one is the best!

it was a saturday and he showed up at 8 am.... but he did a great job and explained everything very well... just showed up to early for a freaking weekend...

I have been a dish customer for the last 9 years and we have recently remodeled and added a guest house to our property the Dish installation in the guest house was a fiasco and the process screwed up the connections in the main house, I have always had y'all's top package and the bill at every one of my three homes is always ove $200 at each one and I'm not complaining about that I don't mind paying for what I want but y'all's service is truly lacking and I may switch to Direct TV.

I've only had dish for about a month now but the whole experience from ordering it til now has been great. Ordering it was easy, the installation was done on time the technician was great, the price is reasonable and now when we want to watch TV theres always something on. Wegot the Hopper and its great THANKS for a great service

We have been cable customers for over 20 years. I believe in loyalty which kept us in this relationship that truly should have been severed long ago. We are new with Dish and so far this has been a refreshing change, it has been almost unbelievable. We should have switched long ago.

There are some things I like about switching to DISH (lower cost for more channels and HD) but there are also several features of the Hopper that I really DO NOT like at all! When you have something scheduled to record on another channel, it just switches from the channel you are watching rather than switch the other receiver you are not watching. Also, if you are watching a show that is recording, you pause for some reason, then go back and continue watching, then when it reaches the end of that show the hopper will start showing the next program in the spot it is currently in (like maybe 15-30 minutes in the middle of the show) rather than letting you just continue watching. What if I like that show too? It won't let you rewind it either. I hate that! DirecTV has an up on DISH with that feature. Also, with this Joey, it is connected to the Hopper so you cannot watch anything individually if the the Hopper is recording two shows. So it ties our other two TV's to the Hopper and nobody in those other rooms can watch what they want if the Hopper is recording two shows. Not liking that at all! Another feature DirecTV has that DISH does not, is when turning on the DVR in the mornings, the DirecTV receiver will let you rewind 90 minutes of the channel the receiver was on when you turned it off the night before. I really liked that feature because then I could watch and listen to the news while getting ready in the mornings and be able to skip through the commercials. The DISH Hopper just starts right where a show is when you turn on the receiver and will not let you rewind. If DISH wants to be competitive with DirecTV they should really look into adding these features to their Hopper. In some ways I am regretting switching but I will give it some time to see if I like it any better in a few months.

I CANNOT GIVE A REVIEW YET. I HAVE NOT MOVED IN YET, WHERE THE DISH IS AT. I THOUGHT IT WAS STARTING ON JUNE 3, 2015. I HAVE RECEIVED A BILL ALREADY, BUT I HAVE NO REMOTES OR BOXES. I THINK THERE IS MISCOMMUNICATION SOME PLACE . NORMA DEARTH 937-315-5003

Like Dish but internet through Frontier cost not what I was told. I was told cost would be $28.99 and Frontier says it may be $34.99 for the first few months! What can I do?
