It’s been over two months since I had the system installed and I’m still waiting for your company to turn in the paperwork to my utility company. You have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I paid for the system in full and you have defrauded me and my wife of over twenty seven thousand dollars. You people should be arrested for your lies and crimes. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I had my panels installed in October of last year. I still have not been able to turn them on. The power company is waiting for final inspection from Revolution solar but Revolution solar isn't answering phones or emails. I would not use this company if you decide to go solar.
As a follow up: After I wrote this review on the same day my final inspection was sent to Alliant energy. I got operating approval from Alliant energy today 2/27/24. I am officially able to use my system. I still have yet to hear from anyone from Revolution solar regarding the reimbursement I requested for payment in December without being able to operate my system. Customer service is severely lacking.

Do your Research
We had our solar panels installed in November and still have not been able to turn them on. The latest request to dte was denied because the electrician did something wrong with the box. Since that was denied NO ONE is answering the phones or returning calls. We feel as though we have been scammed. Buyer beware!

So Frustrating!!!
We started the process of getting solar panels in Feb of 2023. As of today, Feb 12, 2024, still not up and running. The solar panels were installed in March of 2023 and then we didn't hear a word from anybody. We tried calling and emailing until finally we got through to someone and they got the lines trenched in and hooked up in November. They said Alliant has to inspect it and do the switchover but they would contact them and they'd be out within 48 hours. Well... we are STILL waiting. Tried calling and left voicemails. No return calls and now one of their mailboxes is full. Also not responding to emails. So frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took over a month to get solar to work and it’s been over two months to get a reimbursement paid. Communication is horrible with this company. No reply’s to emails and if they do it’s weeks after one was sent.

This company is awful
This company is awful. They took forever to do the install. They still have never got it hooked up right. I went to my power company so they could show me on the power bill how much solar last month was produced it says 17 kilowatts. My enlighten report says 218 kilowatts were produced last month. I have 17 solar panels. I got 17 kilowatts. Unreal. These people are impossible to get a hold of. I just sit on hold after all there automated crap for 10 minutes then it says please leave a message. No one calls back. I am also paying on a loan on this junk for the last 8 months and it doesn't even work right. I am at my wits end with this company and about to hire a lawyer. I recommend never using this company. Anyone else ready to start class action lawsuit?

Dear Casey Kraft,
First and foremost, I want to express my sincere apologies for the frustration and inconvenience you've experienced with your solar installation and the subsequent challenges in reaching our team for support. It's disheartening to read your account, as it falls far short of the high standards we set for ourselves at Revolution Solar. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to provide this vital feedback, and we take your concerns very seriously.
The discrepancy between the solar production reported on your Enlighten report and what is reflected on your power bill is indeed concerning, and I understand how this can be both confusing and disappointing, especially given your investment and the expectations for your solar system. Please know that we are committed to investigating this issue thoroughly and rectifying the situation as swiftly as possible.
I want to assure you that we will take immediate steps to address your concerns:
- A dedicated customer service manager will be reaching out to you within the next 24 hours to discuss your situation in detail.
- We will arrange for a prompt on-site evaluation of your system to identify and correct the discrepancies in production readings and ensure everything is functioning correctly.
- We are also reviewing our customer support processes to improve our responsiveness and ensure that your, and every customer's, experience is significantly improved moving forward.
Please understand, Casey, that it's never our intention to leave our customers feeling unsupported or dissatisfied. We are here to work through these challenges with you, providing the necessary corrections and support to deliver the solar experience you were promised.
Regarding your consideration of legal action, we hope to resolve your concerns amicably and to your satisfaction without the need for such measures. However, we respect your right to explore all options available to you.
Once again, I apologize for the distress this has caused you. We value your feedback as it helps us improve and ensures that we can serve you and all our customers better. We are looking forward to the opportunity to make things right.
Sincerely,
Revolution Solar

If I could give zero stars I would
If you have done business with these scammers, and live in Iowa, please report it to the Iowa Attorney General's Consumer Complaint office @ 888-777-4590 or you can file a complaint on their webpage at https://www. iowaattorneygeneral.gov/ for-consumers/file-a-consumer-complaint. I have filed a complaint- more people would be helpful.
Update on 2/16/24- Still have not been contacted by this company. Illinois Shines has suspended Revolution Solar from operating for 6months.
If I could give zero stars I would. My experience dates from August 2022 to Current Feb 2024. My installation is currently still incomplete. The loan is through a 3rd party- Enium-which began billing me in Feb of 2023. At first, due to my constant complaints they reimbursed the payments but they have not reimbursed anything since Nov of 2023 and there is no possible way of contacting them anymore. These numbers: 773-388-8000, 708-995-1543, 888-661-2217 all take you to the same answering service and any option you choose does not work and no voicemail or email is returned. How can we start a class action lawsuit across multiple states? Because it is illegal to bill us before the installation is complete, the contract states when installed.

Dear Kimberly Mefferd,
Thank you for sharing your experience, though it deeply troubles us to hear about the prolonged difficulties and dissatisfaction you've encountered since your initial engagement with Revolution Solar. The situation you've described, from the incomplete installation to the challenges with your loan and customer service, is far from the level of quality and integrity we strive to uphold. I extend our sincerest apologies for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused you.
It's concerning to learn that your installation has been incomplete for such an extended period, and equally so that your attempts to reach us for resolution have been met with silence. This is not the customer experience we aim to provide, and we take full responsibility for the shortcomings in service and support you've faced.
We are taking immediate steps to address your concerns:
- I am personally ensuring that your case is escalated to our highest level of customer support. We will have a dedicated team member reach out to you directly within the next 24 hours to address your situation comprehensively.
- We will conduct a thorough review of your project status to expedite the completion of your installation. Additionally, we will assess the financial aspects of your case, including the loan sale and billing issues, to rectify any discrepancies and ensure proper reimbursement for any undue charges since November 2023.
- Your feedback has highlighted significant areas for improvement in our customer service processes, and we are committed to making the necessary changes to prevent such experiences in the future.
Regarding your inquiry about initiating a class action lawsuit, we understand your frustration and the severity of your concerns. While we hope to resolve this matter to your satisfaction through direct engagement and corrective action, we respect your decision to seek legal advice if you believe it is necessary.
Please know, Kimberly, that our priority is to resolve your issues promptly and to restore your faith in Revolution Solar. We value your patience and willingness to bring these matters to our attention, and we are committed to making things right.
Thank you once again for your feedback, and please expect our call soon. We are dedicated to turning your experience around and ensuring that your solar installation fulfills your expectations.
Sincerely,
Revolution Solar
