Almost there but not good yet
Summer Saturday night and quite late, that’s when we arrived, we couldn’t book a table online but walked in and we were very nicely greeted. There is a board saying that they are under new management, but the quality of the food still not quite there. Location, restaurant décor, waitresses, all very impeccable and on point. But the food…. It looked delicious, very appetising but there was no taste!! I thought I was being too picky but even my 11y daughter complaint about her beef skewers not having flavour. I ordered prawns tacos but the tacos were mushy, the raw salad had no taste and the same happened with my lobster roll. I had to use my son’s calamari sauce on it because it had no flavour. I gave my second roll to my husband who said it lacked acidic. I used the lemon given but that didn’t make any difference. We ordered a chocolate ice cream which my daughter said it was good, not too sweet but that didn’t get served until we requested as the kitchen was packing up and not preparing it. And yes, bathroom is horrendous. So smelly and disgusting that I had to cover my nose while inside. Hope they see this and ask the chef what he is doing?
