I wish I had a "no stars" choice. This company bought our wonderful IT vendor 415IT. Since then it has been a total mess. The level of miscommunication, email from people no longer with the company, the excessive charges for absolutely minimal IT services...

We have had their service for many years, basicallly since they strarted. It was very helpfull when it came to monitoring our server for outages. However you need to be aware that they will add subscriptions which will drive up your cost. In our case our monthy charge went from $20.00 (for the basics with 6 probes) to $81.00 based on the number of probes they were doing. We did not need all the extras and did not appreciate the automatic opt-in. If you do sign-up make sure you monitor your monthy billing. And additional charges if you pay annually. Their surprise billing is the reason for the 2 stars.

I was a client for close to 10 years, was very happy until they suddenly decided to raise my plan 128% ($25 to 54$), no notice. I asked them to close my account and refund - if I couldn't stay on the current plan - they did not. Just got charged again for $54. Be careful with these guys.

I recommended uptime.com to a friend, who then signed up and paid for the service. Shortly after, it turned out that she could suddenly only select a very few locations. Nowhere in the pricing does it state that only 6 locations are available. If you want more, you have to pay a small fortune. This is completely opaque and unfair to the customers. I am very dissatisfied with this approach.

In our line of business, we work with numerous SaaS sales teams, both for our clients and ourselves. It’s rare to encounter such an engaged leader (in the sales process) who genuinely takes the time to listen to customers one-on-one. We've been with Uptime.com for around six months now, and that level of commitment is really evident in the product; our experience is one of a robust and reliable platform very capable of monitoring our entire estate (including now those third-parties). Lots of SaaS products have roadmaps and feedback tools but often it feels like window dressing. Not the case here. You actually feel like using those mechanisms because they are suitably responded to and moreover actioned where appropriate. Really pleased we chose Uptime.com.

Uptime.com is pretty decent, but the UI can be a bit clunky and counterintuitive to use at times. Limited to 4 9s (i.e. 99.99%) uptime monitoring, anything higher is treated as 100% so if you need to measure 5+ 9s then you should look elsewhere.

It's really an easy to use and important tool for business

Uptime works just fine Previously used a more expensive service called Alertbot, happy we made the switch, this is better and less expensive.
