I understand that Upstep seems like a much more convenient and affordable option rather than visiting a podiatrist for custom inserts - but it's worth it to see a real Doctor. A doctor will actually build you an orthotic that will take in consideration so much more: you gait, back issues, details regarding your arch. Upstep offers a poor and cheap product - the mold making process does very little to capture any details and imbalances. The imprints are pathetic and the insoles they send you are pretty generic. Plus the customer service from Upstep is awful. If you try to contact them for your refund, they will ignore you phone calls and mislead you.

Pretty terrible customer service. Writing a review in the hopes someone follows up because they've ignored my emails and chat messages. Tried calling too but the lines always busy.

These insoles were not worth it even if they were free! A person would be better off buying some Doctor Scholls or even a generic insoles. It all sounds good the way they have you take a picture of your shoe and send it in, you do hte mold of your feet, but they were nothing more than a "cushion". no support and even as a "cushion", they were wore out in 90 days.
