UnsplashReviews of unsplash.com

It will always be free they said, you will not have to pay they said. Well here we are, unplash premium is here to get premiums pictures on a web site made especially to find pictures from photographers, sharing their pictures for free (asking only a word about them). I don't say there is no more free pictures, but lying about not going premium, but now you can see a definitely decrease of pictures quality. So yeah, you can stay free. But you will never get the quality of previous unplash.

Great stock with a lot of quality and free images

Good categorization, photos are of high quality.

In general I love the images unplash offers. The paid service unsplash+ could be a step ahead to more quality. (But if you pay this service you cannot filter the 'better' images.) Now finally I can filter that images.

the library contains hundreds of high-quality photos that cover a wide range of niches and what makes it great is all of its content is commercial-free! great source for artists and content creators alike who struggle to find high res images to use for their content. not all of us are professional photographers of course which means that we would need to spend money -sometimes a fortune- on online libraries so that we can use the content legally, which makes Unsplash a safe haven for many content creators. love it!!

Although Unsplash is a great platform and offers such quality and free images, I am giving it 3 stars because of the lack of diversity in its image bank. My work is to create websites specifically for POC clients and it can be quite frustrating trying to look for images with non-white models.

I like the service and have been using it for a few months now, but I was shocked when I searched using the words, 'damaged American flag,' and "dirty American flag," and dozens of photos of Black people showed. WTH is the meaning of this? It feels wrong.

Unsplash was a way for photographers to show some of their photos and get known. Later it was sold to Getty Images, so, who knows if Getty is not selling the photos from Unsplash that are free? On the other hand, photographers don't get paid at all there, so, better build your own website , even if not paid, your photos are always YOURS!
