This site was so deceptive. I know I should have looked at it more closely so I accept final responsibility, but now I am out over 300$ for someting that costs 160 and I'll have to pay the 160 anyway!!! I am so MAD!!

DO NOT USE! They pretend to support you but don’t. For minors they will specifically say they help but minors have to have two parents present at passport office so they should not accept any minor renewals because they cannot help. Read other reviews overall to better educate yourself.

Be very careful — the fee is NOT the passport fee I wish I had read the reviews before using this service. My experience was very similar to what others have described. I paid a substantial fee believing I was paying toward the passport application process, only to later discover that the money was just for their assistance with completing the paperwork. I still had to pay the actual government passport fees separately. The biggest issue for me is how unclear the pricing and service felt during the process. For something you can complete yourself through the official U.S. government passport website, the additional charge is extremely high. Please do your research before paying. If you need a U.S. passport, go directly through the official U.S. Department of State website so you understand exactly what the government charges and what you are paying for. I would not use this service again.

Absolute trash of a company! I don’t even know how I got to their website in the first place because if you search up passport information online, almost everything is the government website. But either way, once on their website, they actually have you go through and choose your passport options and your payment coincides with your passport option so it doesn’t even make you think twice that this isn’t legit. And then to have them come back and say that their fee is for what…. Filling out the application?! And mailing it to me?! I filled out the application by filling in all of the information online and the envelope was what…. $2? So what about the other $181?! And to suggest that they are not scamming people is absolutely absurd!!! They are taking advantage of people and stealing their hard earned money and it’s absolutely sick and disgusting.

Horrible deal and misleading. All the service does is help you fill out a free passport form that you can fill out yourself in 5 minutes. They charge exorbitant fees (almost $200) and they don’t mention that the fee is only for the service, this does not include the cost of the passport. Absolutely scummy tactics. Avoid at all cost.

Predatory business practices and deceptive marketing. My wife used this site believing it was a legitimate, government-affiliated passport portal. United Passport charged us $250 simply to format a standard government document that is legally 100% free to the public. They do not cover your actual federal passport fees or handle the application processing. We contacted their chatbot only ONE HOUR after paying to demand a cancellation and full refund. The automated system blocked us, claiming it had "already shipped." The next morning, we called and spoke to a customer service representative who repeated the exact same scripted excuse. It is logistically impossible to physically package and ship an order within an hour, and it is impossible for them to ship a passport, as only the U.S. government has that authority. This is a deliberate stall tactic to trap consumer funds. We have filed a formal dispute with our financial institution for deceptive business practices. Avoid this company at all costs and go directly to travel.state.gov.

Do not use! United Passport does not know what they are doing. Here is a summary of the logistical and procedural failures that I encountered: Withholding Critical Documentation: The service provider received the State Department's Information Request Letter (IRL) but withheld it for approximately 20 days, only providing a copy after it was explicitly requested. Without this letter, the acceptance agency lacked the necessary context and authority to process the application properly. Piecemeal Document Delivery: The service failed to provide a single, comprehensive packet of documents. Instead, necessary forms and instructions were scattered across multiple, separate communications, which created severe confusion and forced the acceptance agency to provide missing forms that should have been included in the initial materials. Providing Inaccurate Information: The service provider supplied pre-filled application forms that contained incorrect information regarding the applicant's place of birth, which required additional time and effort to reprint corrected copies. Conflicting and Impossible Instructions: The instructions provided often conflicted with the actual text of the State Department’s letter, causing confusion regarding what needed to be signed and witnessed. Furthermore, the service repeatedly directed the applicant to visit an acceptance agency to execute an oath, despite the service already being in possession of the applicant's required identity documents, making it impossible to complete the mandated steps. Lack of Clarity in Simultaneous Processing: The service struggled to manage the simultaneous processing of different application types (passport book renewal and stolen passport card replacement), creating administrative bottlenecks that ultimately led to unnecessary denials and delays.
