I booked a ticket to Hongkong through Kayak and it generated a ticket through underpricer or underpricer.com. Its a scam website where it promises full refund on tickets booked if cancelled within 24 hours. I cancelled within 16 hours and they deduct more than $350 in the refund saying Seat booking is a 3rd party service. There is no way to reach their support team NOR does Underpricer,com respond to emails. Complete scam. Kayak takes no responsibility and Underpricer does not respond. Avoid Kayak and Underpricer at all costs.

I booked flights through UnderPricer, should be called unders-cammer which was listed under Kayak, so I didn’t realize I was dealing with scam agency until after the booking. If I had known, I would have booked directly with the airline. Due to the security situation in Turkey today and was u der attack and ny flight was to leave Friday, I tried to cancel my flight scheduled for Friday. I spent over 6 hours on the phone, waiting nearly 2 hours each time, only to be disconnected. When I finally reached someone, they said there was nothing they could do and that it was up to the airline. At the same time, they pushed me to cancel with zero refund, while trying to keep the $4,500. This is scam beyond scam. My advice: book directly with the airline. What looks cheaper through third-party sites can turn into a very expensive nightmare when something goes wrong. And their scam tactic are hard to detect

I had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life with this company — at a time when I was already dealing with the loss of my mother. I urgently needed to change my return ticket after my mom passed away. While the customer service agents were extremely polite on the phone, that’s unfortunately where the positives end. I was repeatedly assured that my case was being handled and that someone would follow up. No one ever did. I had to chase them multiple times. Each time, I was met with more apologies and more promises — none of which were actually fulfilled. Because of their delays and lack of action, the fare increased significantly, and I ultimately had to pay hundreds of dollars more than I would have if they had acted when they said they would. Politeness means nothing without accountability. In a moment of personal crisis, I needed efficiency and follow-through — not empty assurances. This experience added unnecessary stress and financial burden during an already painful time. I will never use this company again, and I strongly urge others to think twice before booking with them. Buyer beware.

Single worst 'travel agent' experience I've ever had. Will never use Underpricer again, under any circumstances, and will warn others as well - it's some kind of bad combination of amateur hour and a scam. It all started with my very first interaction - after I purchased plane tickets with seat assignments included, I called the airline (Aer Lingus) and they assigned me seats. A few days later I got a call from an Underpricer representative out of the blue, who wanted to charge me for assigning seats. When I told her my fare included seats she kept insisting she would charge me. I told her I already had seats from the airline and she kept insisting that wasn't the case and she would have to do it for me - and again, charge me. This back and forth went on for a while - much longer than it should have - and I was actually pretty confused about why she was calling me, as no one has ever called me in the past when I just bought a ticket online. After a while once I started becoming annoyed she finally gave up, checked something and verified that I did indeed already have assigned seats (four tickets.) And then it just got worse from there - Underpricer charges all kinds of fees on top of airline fees - high fees to make any changes at all, the customer service reps don't know what they're talking about and each one gives a different answer, most of the time incorrect, and then later correct themselves - like I said, it just all feels like a combination of amateur hour and a scam.

They don't want to refund the money for a flight cancelled due to the carrier's fault

I recently booked flights to Europe through Kayak, which routed me to Underpricer. Less than two hours after completing the reservation, I received an email from Underpricer stating that the ticket price had increased by over $400. When I called to resolve the issue, I was transferred between four different agents before anyone could even locate my reservation. After more than 30 minutes on the phone, I was told they could not honor the original price that I had already booked. No reasonable explanation was provided, and no effort was made to remedy the situation. Fortunately, I was able to book the same flights through Travelocity for nearly the original price, which made this even more frustrating. This experience felt like a classic bait-and-switch: a low price used to secure the booking, followed by a significant price increase with no accountability. I would strongly caution others against relying on Underpricer to honor the prices they advertise.

Bought our Premium plus tickets for Vancouver to Hong Kong and couldn't find a window and aisle together. Rep called us and said he could get them for us for $60 ($30 each) and even sent us an email saying they were window and aisle...but the weren't, just next to each other in the middle. Have complained to their customer service website...no response. I'm disappointed that kayak would use this organization.

I booked an international trip for my family through Underpricer, and it turned into one of the most stressful travel experiences we’ve ever had. We paid $2,200 in advance for specific seats on four LOT Polish Airlines flights because one of our children has a disability and must sit next to a parent for safety and communication reasons. Underpricer processed the seat payments and confirmed everything as if it were guaranteed. When we arrived at the airport, LOT had removed every single one of our paid seats. This happened on all four flights. Our disabled child was repeatedly seated away from both parents, sometimes between strangers, and we had to beg other passengers to switch seats just to keep him safe. It was exhausting and completely avoidable. When we reached out to Underpricer for help, they offered no support at all. They did not advocate for us, did not contact the airline, and did not assist with the refund for the seats we paid for but never received. Their only response was to push everything back onto the airline, even though the booking and seat purchases were made through them. A good travel agency should step in when something goes wrong — especially when a disability is involved. Underpricer did nothing. We were left to deal with the airline on our own, and we are still fighting to recover the $2,200 in seat fees. If you’re considering booking through Underpricer, be aware that you are completely on your own if anything goes wrong. They take your money, but they do not stand behind the booking or provide any meaningful customer service. I would not use them again.
