Gordon and Holline W.
Scammed
In March, I booked an itinerary for November, wanting a return flight in May. I was informed that the booking could not be made more than a year in advance. The agent suggested that I could pay extra for a flexible ticket, and that would solve my problem. So I booked a return flight for February. Now it's May, and I want to change the return date to one year from now. But now they inform me that one year from the booking date (March 22) is the limit of the ticket's flexibility, and they will not refund my ticket. So, I can't do what I need to do, and that I was originally led to believe I could, and I'm out the money. I feel scammed. Here is an update, May 19, 2023. This review resulted in Underpricer reaching out to me, when no one would listen before. They did their supposedly thorough investigation, and their conclusion was to give me a refund of the extra I had paid for a flexible ticket -- roughly $200. We are still stuck with an inflexible flight itinerary that was never what we wanted. Issue resolved? No way. Further update, May 30, 2023: They have refunded us about $1,200 for a flight itinerary that cost us over $1,700. This means that they have kept more than $500 of our money, leaving us nothing in return, due to a booking we'd never have made but for their misinformation. Too bad they won't make this right.
