This company so called unchained music is total trash. they are liars if you pay for pro account you will never see anything different this people are a disgrace to humanity. There employees are garbage unprofessional. Including Matt! the upload take a year to show. i had to do a chargeback after seeing them do nothing. Save your time and money. Look for a reputable company this people are low low scammers.

Before our updates to make the policy even more explicit, the original policy surrounding AI works stated that you needed to declare your use of AI tools at the time of distribution, and you were not able to use AI tools that didn't disclose their training data. Both of these policies you broke before the new updated content policy came into effect.

Broken Promises, Stonewalling Support, and a Platform That Shouldn’t Exist
I joined UnchainedMusic.io in January and paid for a full year of their so-called premium plan. I submitted a substantial catalog of music, including AI-assisted tracks — which they claimed to support. But the longer I stayed, the clearer it became: this platform is a mess.
Review times were painfully slow. Communication? Nonexistent. I sent multiple emails about uploads, takedowns, and AI policy changes — never got a single reply. What’s worse: after jumping through all their arbitrary hoops, they started rejecting AI-enhanced music entirely without transparency or logic. That wasn’t part of the agreement when I signed up.
Eventually, I pulled everything down — but even that was an ordeal. Their takedown process was glacial, leaving songs lingering on DSPs long after removal requests. And honestly? I’m grateful I never got to the point of earning royalties through them — because now I’m seeing other artists report that Unchained Music is screwing people out of payments, redirecting royalties, or sending them to the wrong accounts.
If you're serious about your music career, do not use UnchainedMusic.io. They're not just incompetent — they’re actively deceptive. Go with LANDR, Ditto, or any other real distributor that communicates and respects artists. UnchainedMusic.io is a failed experiment with shady ethics and zero accountability.

I would agree with other reviewers…
I would agree with other reviewers regarding getting their account terminated on accusations of fraud, coincidentally shortly after you pay for one of their subscriptions. Although it could be related to Spotify bot issues, I don't think it is fair to get blamed as a new artist. I can't control how the public uses my music so I don't understand why they need to close my account for $10 worth of hypothetical fraud? Keep the chum change... It would make much more sense for the business to keep me as a paying customer and work together to figure out what's going on. Not everyone is looking to scam the system. For the record, I did get one pay out before paying for the Core membership, so something is fishy.

We understand it's frustrating, especially as a new artist, but DSPs like Spotify hold us accountable when suspicious activity is detected, and failure to act can lead to platform-wide penalties. Paid for pro service $14.99. Received free core service. Several attempts to contact have went unresponded Now it's May 10 still waiting to get access to paid level. I went ahead and started releasing music independently

Unfriendly with AI MUSIC
Their TOS allowed AI music, but if you submit all music generated by AI, they rejected all of your music.
Don't wasted money and time. Slow review process, and no sense of rejection.
My 18 albums were rejected, even I subscribed Unchained Pro Plan, Terrible service.

Due to I cannot reply their comment below, so I sent a request for refund because their policies. They cannot, but Distrokid can. No one reply and no refund now.
However there is admin on trustpilot. If you have time and care about ur customers. You should declare the reason clearly on your website, and make it faster to reply or review the music. Each album spent 5 days.
Finally, I create music with prompt, I regenerate a lot until I got the song, the cover I change a lot of prompt until i got the image, how dare you say i create without human creative.
Anyone who looking for music distributor, I can say chose DISTROKID. I submited same album and my album got approved with in an hour, instead waiting for 5 days and got rejected on unchainedmusic.

Finaly I just wonder instead of they refund my money, that will make me satify, but they want to delete negative feedback from real customers. I still confused that Unchained music cannot distribute my music, but Destrokid and Symphonic can. The company goes to the wrong way, and sooner or later I hope they will lost more customers due to my comments.
Actually, US law also have consumer right protects act. Customers can ask refund within 14 days without question ask. They also violate the law by create their unclear term of use. If anyone facing same case as me. Please try to filling to Consumer protection organization in USA like FTC. I think this might help more people for recover their fund form unethical company!

While we do allow AI music and cover art to be uploaded we do ask that the music and naming is not generic, and you consider your place in the creative process. The music you provided consistently had album names like "Soft Glows Along Midnight Roads", "Echoes Across Digital Horizons", and and "Wandering Paths Beneath Quiet Stars" with the exact same cover art between albums, despite being 20+ track albums each. Our quality control team sees this as not a good-faith effort to use AI as a tool in the creative process, especially since you do not currently have any artist presence on streaming platforms.
Specifically, this falls against our following policies related to AI music:
1.) Originality, as the naming, music, and cover art were not sufficiently distinct to be a good-faith effort of new creation using AI tools.
2.) Ethical Use of AI, as you did not attribute the releases to AI until pushed by our quality control team.
3.) Use Original Cover Art, as some of your albums had the exact same cover art.

My personal opinion. (unchained music) Better not to use it
While searching for different companies on Google, I found unchained music. And after reading various articles, I thought their service would be much better. I first buy a subscription from them. And several of my audios previously released through other companies I submitted for release through them. Unfortunately they rejected my audios and they asked me for proof. When I gave them the previously released document they told me that the copyright document should be given to them. If you are a normal artist. So is it possible to copyright each of your songs? My question is to you.
I tried to tell them time and time again that there is no way I can register so many audio copyrights. If there is any kind of copyright strike on my release, I will take responsibility for it. But they didn't listen to me and disabled my account. And this happened within a week of buying the subscription they didn't even refund my subscription. I never slander any company. But forced to write a few lines about them.

Hello Tanjir! I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
After looking into this, you were releasing soundtracks that had an overlay of a prominent speaker in it, in this case, Mizanur Rahman Azhari. In order to use someone else's recording, you do need permission from that person.
You were unable to provide that permission to us, so we did not release your music.
Your account was never suspended, and you still have the ability to upload to Unchained, provided you have all of the rights to the music you are uploading.
