I was hesitant to attempt to rebuild them Disa Valve for the N52N intake manifold for my 2009 BMW 328i e92. I just rebuilt it using the i6 automotive rebuild kit I purchased from UKARAUTO and it was simple and didn't take very much time at all. Thanks to bother UKARAUTO.com and i6 Automotive.

The part quality and fit were great. The DISA valve operates well with the new metal parts and there is no play in the linkage. A few comments: The kit had and extra washer in it that I didn't know what to do with. It looks like a push-on shaft lock washer used in the M54/E46 kit, so I just left it out. It would be nice if there was an instruction sheet with a bill of materials to cross-check. The axle shaft poked out of the top of the DISA valve housing by about .2", which is different than the OEM, which is flush. I measured the depth of the installation pocket vs. the extension of the shaft, and there was enough clearance - about .010". Just to be on the safe side, I used a bench grinder to take about .020" off. Overall very pleased and I don't expect these parts will ever fail. If the DISA goes bad, it will be something in the rest of the actuator.
