Founded in 1951 in UCLA's Royce Hall by University employees, University Credit Union (UCU) is a financial cooperative dedicated to giving the university community a financial advantage. Our story has spread exponentially to other higher education institutions since then, and continues to grow.As a not-for-profit co-op, our commitment is to our members, not stockholders. This enables us to focus on the long-term strength of our business, while remaining true to our purpose.
