ubreakifix more like ubreakibreak some more. last week on thursday i couldn't get on my apps because of something wrong with the pc or microsoft. we go to best buy where we bought the dell laptop but they were talking about 200 dollars which was ridiculous. they recommended that we should go to ubreakifix and that's exactly what me and my mom did. we go there and drop it off for them to fix it as they said it will be ready on monday after they do a diagnostics test. plus they suggested a choice whether to pay the membership every month paying 26 dollars or pay 200 dollars plus tax as of course i chose the cheapest than the expensive. friday and saturday later it's now sunday as i wait the whole weekend for the results. next thing you know my mom spills the tea that they took out the data FROM the computer as we were both pissed and rushed to the store. hell i even ran to the employees only room just to see if anybody was there and for confrontation purposes as the one lady who was sitting in the waiting room was shock cause she thought she was about to witness a big scene. the employees tell me i can't be there obviously as i said okay i'll wait for one of you guys to come out in my i'm not playing voice/tone as my mom has to hold me back but neither of us has emotional control at this point. the guy who was overweight comes out of the only employees room calm but of course on the inside i know he was nervously heartbeatingly scared . he returns the computer but of course we still confront him about taking the data out. he explains that there was too much storage which is why they took it out. i understood that because if they didn't the computer would've crashed. now, i was also mad at microsoft but at the same time i wasn't sure how this happened in the first place. i don't know if it was a virus, a glitch or something that had to be reinstalled i don't know. anyway, we had to go to this other computer place to get a bigger hardrive for the computer. we come back, give it to the employee and leave out as we're gonna pick up the hardrive WITH MY DATA tommorow which is today or monday. also that laptop is important because i use that laptop to edit my videos for youtube. i even used that laptop for when i was homeschooled. mind you this ubreakifix place was near popeyes where we got dinner as i tried the popeyes chicken sandwich for the first time after 3 years but that's another story. so the next day which is today i get off work as my mom picks me up and when we head to the same store again to get the hardrive that has the data on it. i feel bad for my mom at this point cause she has things to do then waist her time on this episode of life and so do i. not to mention they we're talking about 30 DAYS?? just to fix this at first. are you serious no i ain't finna wait 30 days cause i'm not gonna keep dealing with this, i have things to do just like my Mom. you guys either fix this today or tommorow. if you can't find a way to fix it THEN JUST GIVE ME MY GOTDAM LAPTOP BACK AND WILL HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO REINSTALL THIS STUFF!!!. 30 days is like almost a whole other month. that's just bullsh*t anyway, we get the hardrive as we leave the store and go home. currently i thought something was wrong with it but it turns out the laptop was just restarting so they at least did something right. never coming back to this place ever again!. i'll give them credit on doing some stuff right and explaining things as the communication was understood than misunderstood but you didn't have to take out the whole data and if you did why couldn't you put it in a safe hardrive then just have the computer wiped out which yes i got the computer back before we got the data but still this whole thing was just ridiculous af. of the way it had to escalate all because of a error on a pc from microsoft. so in conclusion FORGET UBREAKIFIX WHEN IT COMES TO THE MOST NEGATIVES THAN LEAST POSITIVES AND FORGET BEST BUY A.K.A GEEKSQUAD FOR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE WHEN THEY'RE SERVICE IS'NT ALL THAT GREAT!. now if you excuse me imma try to make composure (as lord give me strength) with this situation starting tommorow on tuesday and wednsday as well. i understand things happen but i'm not taking this as everything happens for a reason. i'm taking this by calling it yes things happen in life but that dosen't mean you have to always accept it.

I accidentally reviewed the wrong ubreakifix. The Netherlands seems to be receiving the negative reviews from the United States. For that I apologize to them. Here is what I wrote from my experience at the United States location. First, they have the option to schedule an appointment automatically. Take this with a grain of salt as most companies will not have the required parts on hand. Next, I have an S21 Ultra and I called to schedule an appointment. A few days later my parts came in and I got in. Okay, great so far. I was asked for my device passcode for recalibrate purposes. I needed my screen replaced. I removed my passcode and told them that if my business information ended up online I would not be happy. They told me they do not go through devices. Okay, whatever. Two hours later I get the phone back. The guy says in addition to the screen, I also got a new battery and front camera. I was like what the? Replaced my battery... I bought my phone on release day and have been keeping track of the battery quality. I had a battery that has been cycled hundreds of times and charged for something like 300k+mHa. Now I reset my battery checking since I received a new battery without my approval. I performed Samsungs calibration process for a new battery and received a terrible result with this so called new battery. A new battery for this device is 5000 mHa And the minimum mHa for a new battery is 4885mHa. My phone was 4750mHa when I turned it in for a screen replacement. I get my phone back and a week later after my initial tests, my "new" battery is 4566mHa. So they took my phone, did an unauthorized repair to it, and only told me after the fact what they did. Two stars is what I rate you because you did replace my screen in the two hours that you claimed. Minus one star for giving me a crap battery. Minus one star for not telling me that you were going to do another repair. Minus one star for not getting my permission to change my battery. Minus one star for the attitude, I received before the repair. If they reach out to me to rectify the problem, I will do a follow-up. Follow up, they never followed up with me after I inquired about them changing my front camera and battery. I then reached out to Samsung. Samsung did let me know that what UbreakIfix said was a lie when asked about the work order.

had hard drive replaced. it took 8 days for it to arrive. fixed the next day. promised a call and email when ready for pickup. got neither. called for status they said it was finished yesterday. what I got back was a computer with 2 cracks on the bottom trying to remove to replace drive and 4 mounting screws missing. very unhappy with the overall experience this was the Smithtown location .and will go elsewhere if I need services.

Went in to fix my iPhone X they did the job perfectly only problem they charged me twice on two different cards and it’s been over 3weeks and still no refund they keep giving me the run around and telling me to resolve the issue with the bank seriously not professional with they’re customer service
