Avoid purchasing anything from Universal Audio. Their software is not compatible with the latest Mac computers, and their customer support is incredibly slow—it can take weeks to get a response or resolve even simple issues.

Bon, j'en ai marre. Cela fait des années que je suis chez UAD. J'ai une Apollo x8p, une carte Octo PCI, et tous les plugins UAD. Le fait est que pour MAC ça fonctionne bien, mais les utilisateurs PC sont complètements délaissés. Depuis des années j'ai des click et des plop lorsque je suis en 48Khz. Mes autres cartes sons ont toujours fonctionné sans problème. Et quand on leur demande d'où vient le problème, il vient d'une mauvaise configuration... La console ? Complètement buggée. À chaque mise à jour je me dis "ah enfin, j'espère qu'il vont résoudre les problèmes". Et à chaque fois c'est pire ! La gestion du multi écran est une catastrophe, ça plante etc. Et après tout ça je ne parle même pas de leur politique tarifaire, du fait que j'ai 10 fois + de latence avec les plugins via DSP que les plugins via Processeur donc inutilité totale des DSP aujourd'hui. Dès que ça avance, je revends ma x8p et je garde ma octo interne. Marre de cette carte son "haut de gamme" qui n'arrive même pas à lire un fichier mp3 sans Plop dans le son.

Not a user for several years and they send spam without option to unsubscribe. So called privacy policy states that I should be able to unsubscribe from their spam from the email, but there is no such link or any information there. No option to disable spam from account as well.

It seems everyday I get a pop up prompting an update for UA Connect, its so intrusive and annoying, to the point where I've uninstalled it

Exceptionally poor customer service. They send me emails I can’t unsubscribe from. Their tech support is hard to reach. Their sales@ email won’t help with simple unsubscribe requests. Tech support won’t unsubscribe me - they just tell me to change my email address to an invalid one. They won’t let me delete my account or help me delete it. Completely hopeless. UA feels like a 1970 company not a 2025 company

Worst Customer Service and Tech Support ever and if you do report a Technical Issue like eg. not being able to use the Plugins you bought because they are too small on a 4K Monitor well then they just are't bothered eg. You still can't use nearly ALL UAD-2 Plugins on a 4K Screen as too small to view the knobs/sliders etc. UADx are all OK and have options to resize but not UAD-2 VST3 and they just don't seem to care that you cannot use the Plugins you bought for the Accelerator Cards and Audio Interfaces totally defeating the object around how UAD started off and the ability to take some load off the CPU Processor. The Managment need sacking
