CONSUMER WARNING: Overcharges, hidden fees, damaged property
CONSUMER WARNING: Avoid Two Men and a Truck CONSUMER WARNING: I was a returning client who hired Two Men and a Truck to handle both the packing and the moving (onto a POD) of my house ahead of a cross-country move. The goal was the pay a professional and well-known crew to take the stress out of moving. This is not what happened. The company tripled the price of the packing job. The packers were in my house for 14 hours and the job was never completed. But I was required to pay three times the cost of the estimated, a price that included hidden fees. The packers began at 9 a.m. It was clear they were inexperienced. Two Men and a Truck didn't provide them with oversight they needed to do the job. Throughout the day, they said everything was going well. At 9 p.m., roughly half the house was still not packed and numerous items and expensive pieces of furniture were stained by being left unpacked/unprotected and put into a dirty garage. We're still accounting all of the damages. But needless to say, this was consumer abuse. I would recommend hiring any other service unless you want to add stress and incur thousands of dollars in hidden fees and damages to your belongings.
