It seems that the website got hacked. I was buying a flight ticket, went on paying and put all my details, but the payment was getting rejected by my bank with the response code 'fraudster'. I phoned up my bank and they said that they were blocking the transaction since I was trying to purchase crypto currency. So it seems the site got hacked.

Besides a pretty decent economy flight and a slight delay i am sad to report that my hold luggage was lost coming back from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to London Gatwick with a stop over at Ashgabat Turkmenistan. When i got my hold luggage back, my case coded lock had been broken into and all my gold and silver jewellery was stolen out of it, along with cigarettes, sealed makeup and some gifts for my family. Some of that jewelley were one of a kind peices and one item was a solid gold ingot with gold chain which i bought with my first big pay cheque. I am devestated and have heard anything from the airline in 2 weeks. I reported to uk police but there is no way to report to Turkmenistan police unless you're in their country. The uk embassy there doesnt cover this and suggested getting lawyers which looks like a dead end. My insurance won't cover this either as i got my bag back with my clothes in. Silver linings but please let this be a reminder to get the right insurence and keep your valuables on you. I wish i had remembered that.

Try to contact customerservice 2 times they did not speak english. They gave different number also didnot speak english. Dont fly with them.

This review refers to the travelagent turkmenistanairlinestr.com and NOT to TurkmenistanAirlines.tm. I purchased a flexible business class ticket, but when I had to change it because of a delay in job it turned into a nightmare. First it was not possible to log on to their web because their web require a 10 digit phone number while my Norway number is only 8 digits and my Turkmen number is 9 digit. Then, there is a change/refund procedure on their web who is not working. There is no link behind several buttons on their web, and most of the click-buttons described in their procedure does not exist. I tried to call them more than 30 times during a week, but they never picked up the phone. Finally I reached them on e-mail just to get a reply that they could not change the ticket (pure fraud) but advised me to go to a Turkmenistan Airlines office. So I did, but they couldn't help me either because my ticket was bought in another currency. So summary. DO NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM turkmenistanairlinestr.com.

unfortunately we booked with them… the flight will be next week… but the experience with them is already aweful. looks like they are all sleeping and don’t care at all. we have a question about our flights… BUT when you call them (10 times already)? nobody is answering the phone…. when you email them (also 10 times alteady), either to their head office or frankfurt airport mailadresse…. nobody is answering now we are really scared about our flight with them next week. NEVER AGAIN

I would not recommend this budget airline, as the overall experience was disappointing and risky. In terms of customer service, it was acceptable during the flight, and the staff handled the delay at Ashgabat International Airport reasonably well. However, the airport itself is a major issue. The Wi-Fi is extremely poor, unreliable, and many websites and apps are blocked. I could not access WhatsApp or even a basic coach booking app, making it completely unusable. If your flight is delayed at this airport, expect to cover all additional costs yourself. The flight experience was also mixed. Some of the meal quality was questionable. The green peas appeared to have been stored improperly, as they had already turned yellow. One sandwich was very poorly assembled, containing only a small amount of filling. The in-flight entertainment and seat features were unreliable. The entertainment screen, audio system, and seat recline button may be broken. There were very limited entertainment options available, with only around 20 choices. On a positive note, the legroom was fairly generous. Overall, while there are a few positives, the risks and inconveniences outweigh them, and I would avoid this airline if possible.

Volo Malpensa - Ashgabat - Bangkok e vv : assolutamente niente da dire - voli più/meno in orario ed anche se l'aereo MXP-ASB è piccolo e senza schermi / intrattenimento c'è un buon spazio tra le file e sapendolo ci si prepara con qualche film scaricato. Sul volo Ashgabat-Bangkok c'è intrattenimento e su richiesta vengono fornito anche le cuffie (e coperte). Il personale di bordo non è particolarmente simpatico ma disponibile se richiesto. L'unico grande difetto è il cibo: meglio portarsi qualcosa da casa. Questo vale anche per lo scalo ad Ashgabat - arrivando alle 01:30 c'è solo un chiosco aperto che offre praticamente lo stesso cibo servito in volo. Il duty free non offre gran che. Attenzione agli acquisti duty-free portati: all'arrivo ad Ashgabat le sigarette vengono sequestrate (se abbiamo visto bene lasciano un max. di 4 pacchetti a persona). Noi abbiamo pagato con Euro senza problemi (meglio avere monete).
