Awful service. Scores are always way off the other two services. The website is not clear. They simply want to sell you services. They should study Experian to see how it's done.

When canceling my deceased love one’s account, TransUnion was professional. Unlike Experian that was a nightmare, TransUnion was competent and timely.

Transunion credit profiling is awful. I have only one HP agreement for £12 per month; a negative balance of approx £80 on my 2 credit cards (total available credit is just short of 15,000); am mortgage free; have healthy balances on my current account all with a stable income. I am in the middle of good, somehow. How so? My other, more reliable, credit ref agency has me down as excellent. Obviously the algorithm needs urgent review and some form of human oversight.

Transunion doesn't even deserve 1 star. Anything beyond zero is way too generous. Transunion randomly decides to significantly reduce my credit score without an explanation, while Equifax and Experian do not lower my score. But, then also randomly increase my score equivalent to what they decreased it, but it's always temporary before they decrease it again. Every single time there has not been a change in my credit report that justify any of those decreases. And, customer service is extremely inept. Waste of time dealing with their lack of any knowledge.

trying to cancel is 99% impossible. they will make you text with an AI that provides a phone number to a department that will ask you 100 questions but not cancel your account. then they will transfer you to another department that asks 100 questions but not cancel your account. piece of shit company.

Almost always impossible to login either via website or app. Always errors, or unavailable, or some such stupid excuse. Can't unfreeze temporarily, so can't do any credit apps. Stuck. After a very long time going through layer after layer of robotic online verification, I finally got a live person (English as 2nd language) who very slowly ran through yet another verification process. It took about an hour to get a 24-hr freeze lifted. This is a dysfunctional company and should be bankrupt!

If are ever in need of a credit inquiry please ask the verifier to use any credit reporting agency BUT Transunion. Its customer service is the worst of the worst. The website is very problematic. It lets you login one day and blocks you another day. I think it suffers from an overzealous and incompetent security. Next when you try to contact customer support it first prompts you to answer many questions then redirects you to a live agent who then asks the same questions AGAIN. Somewhere in the middle of the already frustrating experience the agent sends me a link to authenticate myself. When I complete that it sends me to a brand NEW session where I need to resubmit all my information once again! They keep trying to get the customer to repeat the same troubleshooting steps multiple times never acknowledging the issue on their side. Transunion is not a credit reporting agency. It is a credit torturing agency. Hate them.
