Same product sold for 5£ on Amazon didn’t work when contacted them they said no return even tho the website states money back if no satisfied

The products you may see on Amazon at lower prices are not our official version — we manufacture under stricter quality standards and packaging, which explains the difference. They also usually are cheap copies, usually sold in small 4g containers. Our official product comes with almost triple the amount (10g), made under strict quality standards to ensure better performance and consistency.
If you've received an Amazon/Aliexpress version of our product, you probably didn't buy on our only official website tryhairo.com.

Absolutely useless i’m afraid!!
For most men who are balding/thinning/receding etc, and we see a new product, with heavy marketing, that you optimistically hope is gonna be the miracle uve been looking for all these years. And as usual, we fall hook, line and sinker for more useless rubbish unfortunately!
I have fine/thin hair all over the top, but not really bald per se (u can see my scalp a bit in places etc, but generally have hair). Have been a toppik user for about 10+ years. Adds voulme/coverage very quickly….and doesnt make a mess when u know what ur doing. Lock it in with hairspray and usually good to go. Not the greatest, but does the job. And yes, i know its not useful for swimming/sea etc
This pot arrived yesterday. Its only 10ml of what i can only describe as make-up! It looks identical to my partner’s foundation/concealer etc. Toppik is 55g for about the same price (if u buy in a 3 pack bulk)….and that lasts 2/3 months - just to put it in perspective
Now trying to apply this…..i have maybe a very small bald patch/thinning in my crown. Toppik takes about 2 taps and done. This stuff, literally 10 mins later im still trying to smear this stuff on my crown to add coverage. Very painful. Most of us use a hairdryer to try and add volume to our hair….but this stuff u have to basically smear it on, pressing down on ur scalp/hair, and therefore sticking/glueing ur hair down pretty much - the complete opposite to what we are trying to achieve!
The rest of my head is usually another few taps of Toppik….bit of hairspray….brush through it to disperse etc….more hairspray/product….job done. I literally couldnt use this stuff on the rest of my head, without trying to smear it down on my scalp/hair and flattening my hair…..and it would have probably taken me an hour and the entire tiny little pot to get it done - completely useless im afraid
I mean, maybe if uve got a shaved head/buzz cut with some hair still and wanna just smear make-up all over ur head, then go for it. Otherwise, its just completely usesless. The videos are absolutely nonsense - u 100% cant do what they show u in those videos im afraid
Oh well, i guess im just another idiot trying to buy stuff to improve my hair…..and failing miserably again! 😂
Back to toppik……
Update (as requested below)…..my initial refund request was rejected by email, as they say the product “is used” and therefore they cant refund me. So the 60 day money-back-guarantee is also nonsense/a lie. How else do you know what the product is like without opening it??
However - once i posted them a screen shot of the promise below from customer service, they have indeed refunded me today - so thank you!!

Just to clarify: our product is not a fibre powder like Toppik, and it doesn’t work in the same way. Our Hair Density Filler is a concentrated pressed powder. It’s closer to a concealer for hair density, designed to attach to the roots and scalp strands to create density. For men with fine, thinning hair it can provide a natural, sweat- and water-resistant effect in daily life, but it does require a different application method than fibres. For areas with longer hair where volume is the goal, traditional fibres like Toppik may indeed feel easier and quicker to use.
All of the videos we show are 100% real footage of our product — but results depend on hair density, length, and the technique applied. Smearing too much, or trying to use it across larger areas, will not give the intended effect.

Absolute rubbish
I read positive reviews and wonder if this is for the same product! Firstly, it took a week to arrive. Yet postage cost nearly £4. Absurd. I regularly purchase items on eBay with free postage that arrive a day or so later. If a car battery can be delivered in 48 hours there's no reason a tiny pack weighing almost nothing should take so long.
The product itself? Useless. Genuinely. Their Instagram feed is full of videos showing guys applying the pad in seconds, transforming their hair, and then running their hands through it with no staining. Nonsense. I've spent over an hour trying and trying to get the stuff to achieve anything and it's no good. It'll smudge my forehead or the back of my hand ok if I test that anything is actually happening, but applying it to my inch or so long hair does nothing. Nada. Over and over and no change. It doesn't bond to the follicles, it doesn't shade the bare scalp, and it doesn't add any thickness whatsoever. Yet fibres and Mane spray achieves all of that in seconds.
I really, truly hoped this would be what I needed. But it's a complete waste.

Just to clarify: our product is not a paint nor a fibre spray. Results can vary depending on hair density: if the area is very sparse or bare, the effect will be limited. It’s designed to give a natural look and be more resistant in daily life compared to fibres, but it does require the right application technique. All of our videos are 100% real footage using our genuine product, but they do require the right application technique to achieve the best results. Applying too much or on areas with no hair at all won’t give the same outcome.
Regarding delivery: we normally ship within 24h, but Royal Mail can sometimes take longer than expected. We’re actively working on faster shipping solutions to avoid these delays.

The “32,000+ reviews” refers to the total reviews we’ve collected across all our domains, stores, and marketplaces over time.
As this profile grows, you’ll see more and more recent reviews being added.
