Apt AIReviews of tryapt.ai

They claim that this app can help find your dream job. You answer different questions, many are not job related but things you like to do or how you relax etc. Go through all that, pay for it and the results are the same thing as linkedin or indeed. It asks you what your job title is that you want. Can do the same thing in any free job board. You can do the same thing within chatgpt or claude. If you want to be able to apply for jobs, that takes more work but you can and dont need apt.ai. Update: I appreciate that they did process a refund. This app was not a fit for me but could not find that out until after I paid. I changed the stars since they were quick and didn't fight me. Still only 3 stars since it advertises find you dream job, like it will help you figure that out like a career change that i am currently in. But you have to know what that is first.

A true level up, you might not realize you need.

Absolutely crap! Don’t be fooled by the false advertising saying that they can help you find a perfect career change. I fed their LLM Chat Bot a bunch of personal information about me, to only have it suggest 10+ jobs that are already what I am doing in my career. This is nothing more than a rebranded instance of ChatGPT pretending to be intelligent enough to help you find a new career. Don’t pay money to be a beta tester for an unfinished product. I WANT A 100% REFUND!!!

I enjoy all of the information, it is logically presented and very thorough. I purchased this program a few months ago and it is giving me the courage to follow a career path which will be more fulfilling. It is great!

Good but expensive. The output needs to be tuned to be more constructive and less sycophantic. Would also like it if the test results could be printed into a nice PDF format for resumes.

Apt did everything they said they would, their app does exactly what its meant to, and the insights and aids actually could change your life if you lean in with enthusiasm, RAW honesty, and trust the system to guide and poke you exactly how it needs to. Respond to the AI with more than what it's asking. Have a conversation. It wont let you down!

A COMPLETE SCAM - COMPLETE! After seeing some of your impressive advertisements, I decided to try this app. It preys on people pondering a career changes (usually out of frustration, desperation, etc). Ther app, per very beautiful and probably expensive advertisements, promised an in-depth analysis of my personality and career trajectory or possible future direction. In substance, you took £20 from me, used an AI to chat with me for 4-5 minutes (often repeating questions which breach privacy, possibly as data gathering) and then spewing out a set of results I already knew. There is completely no added value. You do not much work - use an AI - and come up with suggestions or an analysis that is far more shallow than Myers-Briggs itself, the colour tests, and other in-depth career coaching tests. And then your platform sends me jobs which bear no relevance whatsoever to possible career paths I wish to explore. You even sent me one to Montreal Canada when I am based in the UK. For those reading, use Jack & Jill instead - they are a proper job search/recruitment AI company. And I am not working for them but I have used Jack & Jill for 3 months and found it suitable and effective. This APT AI app a complete prototype masquerading as a proper, fully developed, app. And they have made it very difficult for me to unsubscribe or cancel because when I log on, I cannot find anything to allow me to amend my payment/subscription. Surely that must be a breach of some privacy/online safety requirement. Really disappointing.

Do no give this company your time, they are not trying to help you! They use horrible and manipulative practices to con you into giving you time, money and data. Honestly this just needs to be illegal. It is not a legitimate business, and this 1 star would be a 0 if I could.
