The process was simple. I discovered Truemed on Garmin when I was looking for a replacement fitness tracker. I use one to help motivate me for runs and to track several exercises. I would not have bought the model I did if I could not use HSA. Process was straightforward, while I can't say it'll be the same for everyone, this is what it was for me: 1) Wed, purchase garmin watch (with own CC) and pick option for Truemed after purchase 2) request medical note by answering 4 ish page questionnaire - no additional fees 3) received that note mid day (ECD was 24 hours) 4) Wed night send note to my HSA account manager and request reimbursement 5) Fri received reimbursement
