Regarding the monthly fee for the Visa card, we do list the fees on the Card page of our website, as well as in the cardholder agreement that was provided in the last step of the sign-up process, and we appreciate your feedback. For most people who begin using True Link, the monthly fee is worth it for the unique features and benefits that the card and platform provide, including the spending controls, reporting, real-time alerts, and access to a team familiar with the needs of customers with disabilities. However, we understand that this may not be true for all situations, and we will definitely refund the monthly fee that you were charged if you no longer wish to use the card due to the monthly fee. We’d like to provide some additional context about how our system categorizes merchants, and the best steps to take when finding unrecognized charges. First, when we display merchant categories on the Dashboard or a statement, we are doing so using information provided to us by both Visa and the merchant. While they strive for accuracy, there is some discretion in how merchants are categorized that might lead to some merchants being categorized differently from what you may have wished, however True Link does not determine that categorization. If you have not already reached out to our team about the unauthorized charges you mentioned, please contact our team so we can file a dispute claim for the unauthorized transactions and replace your card. The True Link Visa Card is protected by Visa Zero Liability and Reg E, and unauthorized transactions can be disputed by either the card administrator or cardholder. To start, True Link Visa Cards can be declined for a variety of reasons, but most commonly it’s due to either insufficient funds or a transaction setting put in place by the card administrator. If you’d ever like to review this, we offer a few ways to review transaction history and the settings that are in place on your card. The first option is to connect with our team by phone. Our Customer Support Team is available at 1-800-299-7646 between the hours of 6 am to 5 pm PT / 9 am to 8 pm ET Monday through Friday. We also return voicemails to urgent questions during weekends and holidays. We also offer cardholders the ability to view their transaction history and transaction settings online.
