I got this card for my autistic Adult son who has no credit history and rather than using cash. I figured this would be a good start for him when he goes on his outings with his caregiver, just to note I do not put much money in the account in case card get lost I won't worry about money lost

Our agency just started using True Link to help over 300 people we are Rep Payee for get faster and more secure access to their personal spending. Their team was a huge help in getting everything set up in the True Link system, cards received and activated, and in answering so many questions on how to best serve the people we are payee for using the system reports, information and options.

Our mom moved into an independent living after selling her condo. With a little bit of confusion and trouble managing finances we didn’t want her to have access to all the proceeds from selling her condo, but wanted her to be independent and buy what she needs when she needs it. This has been the perfect way to keep her on a fixed income, but let her keep a sense of independence. We set up an automatic Draft to her True Link card once per week. There are so many other controls/limits you can use if or when needed but for now this has been sufficient and the perfect answer for us. She can easily see or call a phone number to get her balance. I, as the account holder, can easily go online and make a one time transfer if needed or adjust amounts.

So far so good. True Link was suggested by our elder law lawyer consultant. We waited until the last minute to activate it but am so glad we did. My mother-in-law, who has dementia tried to buy a plane ticket (not a good plan at the moment) and we have been able to put safe "guard rails" for her and her spending. It's only been about a week but we are so grateful already.

I am new to the True Link card and wanted to get up to speed as the administrator, before giving it to my son. The person I spoke with was very knowledgeable and helped explain the many features of the card. Very appreciative.

On Nov. 3rd the debit card our daughter was using did not work for our daughter. The reason was the cost exceeded the limit that was set. In trying to figure why the card was blocked, we found the vendor had changed names, which is why the card didn't allow the higher limit we had set for a few vendors. What an incredible experience I had working with True Link when resolving this issue. They added the new vendor with the maximum limit we wanted. Additionally they explained how we could accept a new bill in her account, even if it was over the limit. Resolving the issue was one thing, but giving me the information to resolve this if it should happen again was the most important part. Since we are relatively new to True Link, I must say that the customer service people have always been polite, prompt and positive. As a parent, I can't say how much I appreciate the service they offer our daughter. It enables her to be more independent with her money.

I worked in case management for years and served individuals who had disabilities. I had never heard of the True Link card until my mom was in need of a payee who utilized True Link Financial card services for their clients. Years later and once I became my moms payee, I continued using the True Link card for her and discovered how the website as an administrator was very user friendly and allowed for customizations that would meet my mothers needs. Highly impressed with this service. Such an ingenious tool to help others in the community be successful in managing their daily finances! Customer service has always been top notch!
