I am the representative payee for my mentally disabled adult son. He works part time and is very independent, going out to eat and shopping on his own. The True Link Financial card has been great for him to use. I didn’t have any issues setting up the card or waiting for transfers as others have. I have found it works just as the clear instructions says it will work. It is sometimes inconvenient that transfers can’t be made instantaneously as with a different type of card, but I like how it monitors my son’s spending and alerts us when his balance is low. It prevents him from overspending too much and helps him understand budgeting better. The best thing though about this company is that they understand us in the unique position of having to monitor those who cannot manage money on their own. And when my son, who uses his card so frequently that it gets damaged, needs a new card, it is a simple procedure to get it replaced. They respond to concerns very quickly and even better I don’t have to explain why he can’t speak on a phone to them to fix a problem. They understand I am his legal representative and can speak for him. Not many institutions, even in the health field, understand that. I looked into other cards for my son and glad I found True Link Financial. I recommend it highly.

The company TrueLink Financial really has helped my family with difficult circumstances. My sister and her son, my nephew, both suffer from mental health issues. As such, it is difficult to make sure that they have money available to them throughout the month, not just in one lump sum.
