I am a Certified Elder Law Attorney specializing in planning for people with special needs, moderate incapacity, or substance abuse problems. A True Link card is a unique product that I recommend frequently. It allows families and fiduciaries control and monitoring of finances and the ability to set limits and guardrails consistent with public benefit program rules or other needs or limitations of the True Link card holder. Doing so, it also gives the True Link card holder a degree of independence, freedom, and dignity consistent with their abilities. I know of nothing else like this tool.

As the Trustee of a Special Needs Trust, I value True Link as a seamless way to disburse monthly payments to my sister. I have a lot of flexibility in allowing or limiting how the distributions can be used and I love being able to view how she is using the $$. Being able to easily load the debit card is also a plus!

I work in a program where we have about 20 people who use these cards. It makes getting them funds for their needs super easy. When there is a minor problem, the help desk takes care of it quickly. I highly recommend.

As a disabled veteran with severe mental issues, it is usually very challenging for me to have interactions with people I do not know, especially over the phone. The customer service at TruLink has, in my experience, been impeccable. Their agents are patient, kind and easy to communicate with. My most recent interaction has been complicated and involves disputing Visa for a sizable payment…and again the customer service agent went above and beyond to ensure that my issue was being addressed. It was professional and excellent service, and I am grateful for that.

Simple and easy to fund and manage. I have used it for my elderly mother for years and have not had a single problem. The card is accepted for bills and regular debit purchases. It is simple for her to call and check her balance. Most importantly, the customer service is American based and professional. I highly recommend this card to manage secure funds for a loved one.
