TraxxasReviews of traxxas.com

I recently purchased my traxxas bl2s with high expectations. But quickly realized that it was very very slow with a top speed of only 45 mph.......so I ordered over 400 Benjamin's worth of up grades and after flooring it just every time. And only doing 20 barrel rolls at only 60 mph It was non operable😁😁😁

I have traxxas cars . I like the ones I have because I rebuilt them . It’s a hit and miss love and hate relationship. Taxxas does have a good platform to start out with. But there overpriced. The lipos and electronics are garbage. Traxxas connectors are horrible. I hate the UDR and XO1 . Those cars do suck. But there other cars are good as long as you rebuild them . The only reason Traxxas doesn’t sell there cars as a roller. Is because Traxxas wants to charge you for there crappie electronics and wants you to keep buying them . Traxxas stock aluminum is poor quality and overpriced. I don’t understand why Traxxas doesn’t start lowering there prices and start selling rollers like there competitors. For one the X-maxx should come with the wide kit and the upgrade parts that come on the XRT . Just look at the Redcat vigilante price and what it comes with compared to the X-maxx . Seems that Traxxas can’t Learned something from this. Team Corally Kagama VS Sledge . XO1 VS Arrma . Makes no sense. Then every time Traxxas releases a new car . It’s on the same platform as the Slash or Xmaxx . Same car or platform. Just a few things changed around and called something different and way more expensive.

Lured me in with free item. Their website said I would get a free winch with a TRX-4 high trail. I ordered it and never saw anything about the winch in the order. So, I messaged customer service and they told me the promo ended. If the promo ended, why was it still advertised on the website?!

Bought myself a traxxas Xmaxx for Xmas and was treated to their batteries too! Went to charge it today for a rip on Xmas eve and guess what? You cannot charge the battery without a special plug or their own charger (no balance lead for normal balance chargers) so basically I have an oversized paperweight sitting in my house that I cannot use. Well done traxxas for probably the most rediculous design I have probably ever seen. Needless to say I will be sending all of this s hit back to you and you can stick it where the sun doesn't shine 👏 One very angry customer!

The ESC Could be turned on and off by the push of the button. Now I guess the only way you could shut the RC vehicle off is by unplugging the batteries well the connectors are in there so tight I'm having to grab the wires to pull them apart but instead of that I'm pulling the lead out of the connectors which are making athe battery's arc. Call traxxas did not help with no solutions. Basically, they said that's the way it is had no concern about the batteries arcing. And says is there anything else I can help you with.. They went from what was safe by shutting it off by the button to have the battery's arc which could potentially make them explode.

I bought a 70 mph Buggy. It didn't do 70 mph. Traxxas don't sell the gear you need to do 70mph. So I bought the correct gearing elsewhere, still doesn't do 70 mph. What it does though is blow tyres at about 65 mph, and that's if you can keep the front down! Nice one!

My son purchased at Big foot with is own money at 13. Last September. He has had nothing but problems with the motors that you have sent out. We have done everything the tech support has told us to do. I called in today about another motor and also a lipo battery that he purchased separately tech support said they could replace a battery. But with some attitude he said they are only warranted for 30 days. So on a $275 truck the cheap motor is only good for 30 days. Now I know you have sent out a couple of motors and tech support has been great up until today. But without the motor the rest is worthless. He has spent over $400 on this truck and know it is junk unless he spends more money. This is so disappointing. The response I got was that the motors will last if run correctly. 2 of the motors I got only lasted a couple runs. Not in water or mud. It is crazy that they sell junk motors so that you have to purchase more items. I purchased a cheap motor from an other Company and it has been running for months.

0 star if I could. Called on 01/11/22 to make a warranty claim on my TRAXXAS alias (garbage I’ve bought 3 and alll 3 were defective). I believe his name was daniel, he mentioned i would have to pay shipping. I asked if they could cover the shipping this one time and he agreed to do so. Well when I called the following week to finalize the return because i never received the emails from them, i asked him why they aren’t giving me a shipping label and that he said they would do it this one time for me. Daniels response was “you are putting words in my mouth. You are trying to re-write my memory and i don’t appreciate that” and proceeded to hang up on me. Also don’t bother buying the alias. I bought 3, all were defective. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. After flying the 3rd one, one single time of light use and babying it, the rotors were defective the next day. Stay far away from TRAXXAS they are a joke. EDIT. The guy at customer service called me back and apologized for the mix up stating i was correct that he did offer the one time shipping for free but that they could not fulfill that promise and instead would send me two free batteries. I hope the guy didn’t get into too much trouble with his manager but i appreciate them reaching out to making it right.
